The first major headlining act will be “Last Comic Standing” winner Alonzo Bodden (left) on New Year’s Eve weekend, followed next month by Tom Green, Carl LaBove and Richard Lewis.

At 200 seats, the venue is smaller than the old venue, which seated 270. Chiles said he could fit up to 250 but chose to space out the tables so it’s not as cramped as, say, the Punchline. There is another room that fits up to 350 if the club needs it for bigger acts.

Two hours and a lot of makeup turns Peter Facinelli into Dr. Carlisle Cullen

Peter Facinelli is way less pasty in person.

“Do I look like this guy?” he said, holding up a publicity shot of him all done up as Dr. Carlisle Cullen, the wise, compassionate head of a vampire clan in the “Twilight” series. He’s not worried, in other words, about being typecast.

“I’d be more worried if I looked like him,” said Facinelli, also starring these days as Dr. Fitch Cooper in “Nurse Jackie,” the Showtime series.

He was in town over the weekend to greet ardent fans at the Mall at Stonecrest in Lithonia, who brought books and movie posters for him to sign.

“I enjoy interacting with the fans,” Facinelli said. “There’s an energy that just feeds me.”

(Heh heh, “feeds me.” Get it?)

On a serious note we asked Facinelli, married to actress Jennie Garth and the dad of three daughters, if he’s concerned about his girls watching “Twilight” movies or reading the books. In the most recent flick, “New …

The event, held at the Geisha House in Atlantic Station, was hosted by actress Vivica Fox (who looked fab in a short, fitted black dress!) as well as Atlantans Kenny Burns and Fonzeworth Bentley. The awards were part of Gillette Fusion’s MVP Prime Time 5-city tour, which ends today with some stops in local barbershops.
