Why we love the Internet: Memes like this, which is making the social media rounds faster than Cupid's arrow.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve done in the name of love?
Besides making up a fake dead girlfriend we mean. That ole chestnut? So yesterday.
Did you ever concoct a wacky scheme in order to “accidentally” bump into the object of your desire? Time your Starbucks run to coincide with the guy or gal you’ve had your eye on? Contrive some plot to get out of a date when a better Plan B came along?
Break up via text? (Gulp. We hope not).
For an offbeat Valentine’s Day story we want to hear your kooky tales of the heart!
Add your tale of love and longing below and we may be in touch about featuring you in the retro print product. Speaking of retro: if you are going to ditch your date for a better option, here’s how not to do it:

I was 16 and on my way to see my crush on New Years Eve who didn’t even know I was coming. He lived in a remote little town about 300 miles from me. I needed to take 2 trains to get there. I had to switch trains at 3 am. I overslept my stop and had to jump from a moving train. Everyone on the train and at the station were shocked! Guess what? He turned out to had been dating someone else.

I too moved to another state to move in with my bf and wait patiently until we got married on the day we met, after six years of dating. #Things you do for love.. but thankfully it paid off.
Oh and before I moved in , I drove thru the 2010 Atlanta blizzard to go see him in NC for valentines. My car was slipping and slidding on the road and I had to spend the night at some low class motel to stay alive.
