Giveaway! Win some early “Last Vegas” movie gear
Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline have been in Atlanta filming “Last Vegas,” which was was finishing up this week.
Before they split town we received this lovely trinket promoting the movie, due for a December 2013 release. While we’re tempted to hang the four A-listers on our tree, the holiday spirit moves us to offer it to you, cherished reader.
Want it? Simply leave a comment below if you’d like this priceless movie memorabilia. We’ll draw a winner at random and drop it in the mail to you (can’t promise it’ll be there by Christmas though).
The movie, about four lifelong buddies who reunite in Vegas for a wedding, did shoot a few scenes in Las Vegas, then moved to tax-friendly Atlanta.
The movie filmed an exterior scene in the Edgewood area before moving to Mailing Avenue StageWorks in Grant Park for interior work.
The quartet of stars was great for Atlanta’s restaurant community. Douglas and Freeman were spotted at Davio’s a number of times (fun trivia: Freeman is a Brussels sprouts fan), and De Niro dined at Miller Union while he was here.
Douglas also had brunch at Canoe on Sunday while his three colleagues were spotted at various times at Atlanta’s legendary Clermont Lounge.

I will cherish it and put it with the promotional tote bag I won several years ago (from another source)–the embroidery logo on the front reads: “Knocked Up”. Oh, do I get a lot of comments when I carry it!

Saw Michael Douglas at Spago’s in Los Angeles 20 yrs ago. He was having dinner with his Dad and step mother. Seemed to be a nice guy. Smiling,happy, kissy kissy with everyone! BUT, he is alot shorter/smaller than I expected. Can’t wait to see him as Liberace with his ‘boyfriend’ Matt Damon…..
