Happy Wednesday. Here are some middle-of-the-week news and notes for you.

Mr. Freeman posed for this nice picture that the Dunwoody Police Department just posted on its Facebook page with this caption: “Actor Morgan Freeman took a quick break to thank Dunwwody Officers for their assistance while he was in town filming ‘Last Vegas.’”
“Parental Guidance,” which filmed here last year, is coming out this Christmas. The movie stars Bette Midler and Billy Crystal along with Marisa Tomei and Bailee Madison. Looks like it will be cute.

“Ride Along,” with Ice Cube and Kevin Hart, is filming at the Gold Dome this week. It previously filmed at Underground Atlanta and the Gold Room.
Lifetime’s movie about Anna Nicole Smith filmed a restaurant scene at Chops on Monday and is filming a NASCAR scene in Hampton at the Atlanta Motor Speedway today.
Bravo’s new show “The Kandi Factory,” a spinoff featuring “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member Kandi Burruss, tapes at 6 p.m. Monday at Opera nightclub. Want to go? (You must be at least 18). See this website and click on “submissions” then “audience.” It’s a nonpaying gig but you’ll get to watch the show. Exciting!
