Spotted: “Hunger Games” cast members Woody Harrelson, Donald Sutherland

woody“Hunger Games” cast members Woody Harrelson and Donald Sutherland are the latest to be spotted in Atlanta, as the sequel “Catching Fire” is about to film here.

A tipster saw Harrelson at the Atlanta Arts Festival on Sunday. He sat through a set by musician Erick Baker and then chatted him up afterward. That’s Harrelson in the white T-shirt in this photo.

One of my Twitter buddies saw Sutherland at the Ponce Whole Foods juice bar on Saturday.

Alan Ritchson and Lynn Cohen stopped in (separately) to Cucina Asellina in the past few days.

Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Jennifer Lawrence and Philip Seymour Hoffman also have been spotted in Atlanta. We’re told “Catching Fire” will film some scenes in Atlanta, at the Georgia World Congress Center and the Goat Farm Arts Center. It also will film in north Georgia.

Who gives a fork? That movie was boring anyway. Plus, celebrity worship is one of the reason this country is forked.

Loved the Hunger Games. Although it’s not a DVD I would buy and I wouldn’t watch it again.

Ok, I work in the film industry here and all I can say is please, PLEASE stop taking pictures of and tweeting about seeing actors. They absolutely hate it and I hear a lot of comments about how annoying it is to film here because of it. If you want famous people to like it here, quit acting like idiots when you see them.

Do the celebrities also hate it when they cash their exhorbitant paychecks for doing movies? Do the guys hate it when they hook-up with hot girls that if not for their celebrity, they’d have no chance with? Do the women hate it when they don’t have to wait in line to get a table at a posh restaurant intown on Fri night w/out a reservation? They can deal with it…..but if not, no sympathy for them.

Btw, as touristy as LA and NYC are, these celebs are getting their fair share of pics/tweets taken of them in those high-profile cities too.

production is good for the Atlanta economy. stars are just people, overpaid people, but just people nonetheless. Hunger Games movie was NOT NEARLY as good as the book…people should read more.

Really?

Vince:if they don’t like being famous…they can work at McDonalds. You can do the same.

Vince,
You have got to be kidding me, stopping kissing up! Movies and TV Shows are being filmed in Atlanta because of many factors, including tremendous financial incentives which help the movies pay the actors. Since you are in the film industry you must recognize that when actors go places in other cities, including LA and NYC they are photographed by very aggressive people. For people to take a pic with their camera phone or ask for a picture and the actors to get upset is the price of their doing business.

Oh My GAWWWWDDDDD!!! Famous people are here!!! I see them!!!1!!!

Yep, people who over react when they see “stars” make me feel that they have something missing in their life. I don’t mind meeting famous people, but in the end. . . they’re just people.

Sure, there are people who would be cool to meet. But Not sure if posting remote pictures of someone is the best way to present that I saw them.
See that blurry guy in the T-shirt!? That’s that famous person! rEALLYS!!!!111!!!

i agree! they dont hate it when they cash those checks. if wasnt for people being what you call- quote- ‘idiots’ they wouldnt be what they are. some of them doesnt deserve the fame anyway. and filming in atlanta is minor compared to the bigger cities. so actors suck it up.
