U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson paid tribute to the late newspaperman Otis Brumby Jr. on the floor of the United States Senate, introducing a seven-page eulogy into the official record.

Isakson, a close family friend, said he will be traveling back to Georgia for Brumby’s funeral on Wednesday, planned for 11 a.m. at Marietta First United Methodist Church.
