Oprah Winfrey was spotted twice in Atlanta on Thursday.
First, we actually saw her – and more importantly, heard her, walking through the lobby of a certain high-end hotel mid-day yesterday. (Her voice carries!) We didn’t get a close look at her though, and did not want to speculate with no confirmation.
But later the same day, a source reported spotting Winfrey dining at that same hotel’s restaurant. Finally, we received notice that Winfrey’s new television network, OWN, will be hosting a private event on Monday with the cast of “Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s.”
So, given all that info it would appear that the O is indeed in the A. QED.
When we know more, we’ll post it!

Why is it that all the other celebrity spottings that are reported say where they were spotted, yet you feel that Oprah deserves different treatment?

I never reveal the locations of where celebrities stay when they’re in town.
If Oprah’s seen out and about I’ll report that as I and my colleagues have done in the past. Examples:
Oprah seen at CNN Center: http://blogs.ajc.com/the-buzz/2012/04/18/wednesday-round-up-oprah-winfrey-mariah-carey-justin-timberlake-and-clint-eastwood/
Oprah at Georgia Tech for a Ron Clark Academy event: http://blogs.ajc.com/the-buzz/2011/06/15/team-oprah-coming-to-atlanta/
Oprah at the Georgia World Congress Center: http://blogs.ajc.com/radio-tv-talk/2011/07/21/oprah-winfrey-set-to-appear-at-georgia-world-congresss-center-event-oct-15/
Hope that helps,
Jennifer

@Mikeal … Why should Oprah bail out ‘MORRIS BROWN COLLEGE?’ All the admministration will do, as they have proven to have done in the past, mismanagement funds and end up in the same redicament once more!

You apparently live in the hills and are misinformed. It’s Morris Brown needing assistance. Not Morehouse you idiot!

Oprah has put more than 500 men through college in the U.S alone if we count all of the charities and her own school in Africa and other countries, I would say she is doing more than her fair share if giving back and helping…

Mikeal, when you come into your millions or should I say billions as Oprah has, then you bail out Morris Brown. Oprah is a very giving individual and she has afforded 500 young African American to attend college and some of those men attended Morehouse. Why is it that you feel because, she has money she should bail the school out of it’s financial troubles. Let the alumni do what it has been doing and allow some of their weathy graduates to pitch in to bail them out and save the school.
