Trailer for “Trouble With the Curve”

Here’s the trailer for “Trouble With the Curve,” starring Clint Eastwood, Justin Timberlake and Amy Adams.

It’s about an aging baseball scout who mends fences with his estranged daughter while out on a final scouting trip. You’ll be able to spot a number of locations, including Turner Field and smaller ball fields in Dahlonega and Dunwoody in this trailer.

This movie, due to be released in September, looks like it’ll be great. Check it out:

Saw Tech’s baseball field and what must have been a field in Dahlonega. Pretty cool. Would have been cooler to spy on them and see Clint in person! A legend!

Some scenes were filmed in a bar in Macon and also scenes were filmed in our historic Luther Williams Park, second oldest ballpark in the nation.

Macon’s Luther Williams Ballpark, one of the oldest in the Nation, was not mentioned… but much of the movie filmed there.

The baseball scene on the field with the mountains in the background is at Young Harris College. One of the bar scenes is at the Globe in Athens, not sure if it’s in the trailer or not..

They actually filmed this movie in Jasper for a few days. The City of Jasper even had new dugouts paid for by the filming company! Pretty cool.

The brown and yellow fence with the small stands and grass hill are the repainted fence at Dunwoody High School filmed during this past spring break.

The field with the mountains in the background was at Young Harris College in Young Harris. I grew up about 1/2 mile from there.

Great trailer, this should be a great movie with Eastwood and Amy Adams, but not a Timberlake fan. Being a Tech grad and lifelong Braves fan, am very pleased with the fact that an “A” list movie (unlike most of the bad movies that have been filmed here lately) is going to put us in a good light.

I live in Jasper, GA where part of the movie was filmed. I recognize some footage of our City Park ballfield in this preview. Neat!

Cheers – on Northside Drive, Macon, GA – bought out a lot of locals to see Clint and crowd the day they filmed there.

The shot of Amy in a conference room looks like it was filmed at 1075 Peachtree, you can see my building (1100 Peachtree) in the background with its fat, octagonal spire, and then the Death Star and 4 Seasons beyond us. NEVER would have guessed our building was film worthy, but pretty cool to see.
