Will Ferrell will join Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn in “The Internship,” which is filming now in Atlanta, Variety reports.

His role is described as a “cameo.”

The movie, about guys who feel left behind by the digital revolution and decide to start over from the ground up, filmed in downtown Atlanta before moving to the Georgia Tech campus.

The project will be working at Georgia Tech, rendered as Google for the movie, for the next few weeks, at numerous buildings. (Thanks to omfgatlanta, who tweeted us the photo at the right!)

Here’s a link to areas expected to be affected by the filming, although Tech says students, faculty and staff will have access to their dorms, classrooms and offices.

Wilson’s been spotted all over Atlanta – Lure, Ecco, the Optimist, No. 246, Antico and most recently at Whiskey Park. No Vaughn sightings to report other than a juice run at the Buckhead Whole Foods. We’ll let you know if Ferrell pops up anywhere.

I got coffee at the Starbucks at the library. Vince Vaughn walked into the library behind me with about 6 people. The set is so intense!! If I had never been there before, I would’ve thought it really was google!
