You think gays being denied the right to marry is about love? How very simple minded. Marriage is a legal term that gives a couple rights and responsibilities under the law. A civil union is not the same thing.

When you support Mr. Cathy and others like him you are really supporting legalized discrimination. Remember that part in the Bible where Jesus supports discrimination? Me either.

Tater- So you’re asking us to be tolerant of your intolerance? No thanks. That’s like saying that LBJ was discriminating against White Southerners’ right to discriminate when he desegregated schools in the 60’s. That’s a fool’s argument.

We support Chick-fil-a as a business and are proud of the stand for God they have taken. It is ridiculous the hatred that the gay crowd has directed at pro-family companies. A gay “friend” informed me that if I eat at Chick-fil-a, I am no longer a friend and can go to h*ll. On the other hand, the crowd at Chick-fil-a was kind and courteous, never put anyone down and has always been respectful of others. Who is in the wrong here?

Tater- You’re right about not picking and choosing bible verses. It’s also an abomination to eat pork and shellfish, to work on Sunday, and to wear clothes of different fabrics. Ever do any of those things? And “traditional marriage” by biblical standards is polygamy. You think a book that advocates executing your neighbor or your child for some of these offenses, or any of them, is a good ethical guide? If so, that would explain your lack of morality.

I am gay and still do eat at CFA, some people seem to think that they speak for me, “ALL THE GAY GROUPS”, they don’t speak or represent me.. The man has a right to say what he wants, it is one of the reasons that we are a free country, and it was one of the reasons that i joined the military years ago, to help keep us free, can you imagine living in some other country, I can not! Leave the guy and the company alone, and go about your own business, and stop hating on everyone that does not have your same feelings, if you do not want to eat at CFA than don’t.

I mean, heck, I don’t agree with much of what the Ben & Jerry folks donate there money to but I loves me some Chunky Monkey and Moose Tracks!! I know that’s a simple example but, hey, you did call me a fool.

Then you won’t be able to afford to keep growing your oversized rear ends by eating at CFA three times a week.

Serious- From your comment it seems like you’re trying to argue the old “This country was founded on Christian ideals” bs. I guess you dropped out before you got to 10th grade US history, huh? The Founding Fathers were mostly deists, and didn’t believe in the divinity of Jesus. They knew he was just a delusional charlatan. And if this country was founded on Christian ideals, then why are only two of the ten commandments laws (murder and theft)? And those two things are against the law in every country regardless of their religious ideology. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.

You’re essentially saying that the first part of god’s “infallible” words are not accurate or relevant, while the second part is completely accurate, mainly because it’s less reprehensible. I hope you use better judgment than that in Afghanistan and instead allow evidence to form your beliefs, rather than finding “evidence” to support something you want to believe.

He doesn’t get hardware shipments on the “government” roads built and maintained with tax payer money? Does he stay at his store all night protecting it with a shotgun because the “government” police won’t protect it from being robbed? Did he not learn to do math, read catalogues, or learn to write at a “government” public school? Did none of his employees? That’s a ridiculous argument. Surely you’re smarter than that.
