Reese Witherspoon-Colin Firth movie filming in downtown Atlanta
Reese Witherspoon and Colin Firth’s movie “Devil’s Knot” is filming in downtown Atlanta today.
I know this because I have friends in high places. Literally.
CNN’s Holly Firfer sent this photo of the trucks carrying lighting and camera equipment and other gear lined up outside her office window. By the way y’all need to see this nice story about Holly and her mom.

What movie is filming in downtown East Point? I should say, filming this week. There was another one filming at the end of last week too.

I am sooooo looking forward to this movie. They were doing something yesterday at the Civic Center because I saw the production parking signs that said DK Parking.
Jen…..I know you love to report these star sightings, but it might be nice if you gave some background on this movie when you post about it. The story behind this is very sad and disturbing and it would be nice for others to know how messed up as a race we humans can be so maybe we can fix it when we derail.

We seen some of Devil’s Knot being filmed in Morrow, Ga. My son, nephew and niece were extras..how cool. We did see Reese, but for some reason she couldn’t wave, look up, or say hi..its real sad how all these celebrities think they are better than everybody else. What they need to understand is that if wasn’t for their FANS, they would not be where they are. When I think of her now, I remember her snobbish role in Sweet Home Alabama..you know the part where she tells her ex she is better than they are..well she not only plays that part she let that go to her head. 2 days we sat out there, and those 2 days she seen us everytime. I guess there wasn’t enough media here like there was in Cartersville. She took time out to smile, sign autographs, and take pictures there, but not here, and there were only 6 people here in Morrow watching. Surprised her boduguard wasn’t yelling at everybody like he did us, and we didn’t do anything wrong.

Devil’s Knot was in East Point last week with their DK signs. They were only around for a few days. The current film in East Point was using LOC signs, probably not short for location. That would be silly. On the other hand, I haven’t been able to find any film that would use LOC as an abbreviation. Perhaps it’s only a working title. Anyway they are supposed to be in East Point through the end of the week. An old church seems to be the set.
The Internship is filming somewhere in downtown ATL. They had “The Intern” arrow signs out on Courtland near Auburn Ave.

They’ve been filming right next to Georgia State all week. Cops stare you down every time you walk by.
