Video: Trailer of made-in-Atlanta “Jayne Mansfield’s Car”

A trailer for Billy Bob Thornton’s movie “Jayne Mansfield’s Car,” which was shot in and around Atlanta, has been released.

Also starring Robert Duvall, Kevin Bacon, John Hurt, Ray Stevenson, Frances O’Connor and John Patrick, the movie is set in the Vietnam War-era South, where intercontinental family strife parallels the conflict abroad. The film debuted earlier this year at the Berlin International Film Festival and should be released in the U.S. next year.

It filmed largely outside of metro Atlanta, in LaGrange and Cedartown, but key scenes were filmed in Decatur. See if you can spot Oakhurst Church in this trailer:

“It looks way too original. Unless its some overly computer modified crapfest like “Batman 5: Oh My God They Made Another One?” the masses won’t go see it.

By the way….Batman dies.
