Harrison Ford spotted here and there

FordHarrison Ford has been in Atlanta working on “42,” the movie about Jackie Robinson.

We’re told he’s dined a couple of times at Bacchanalia, and that he had dinner at Aja on Friday. He also visited Sushi House Hayakawa, at 5979 Buford Hwy NE # A10.

While there he posed for some nice photos including this one at the right. To see more and to check out the restaurant’s menu see their web site at this link.

“42,” in which Ford plays Branch Rickey, the MLB executive who signed the great Robinson, filmed in Chattanooga, Birmingham and Macon before heading to Atlanta. Here, filming sites have included the Biltmore in Midtown, which will be portrayed as the 1940s era Waldorf Astoria for the movie. Ford’s done working on this project, but shooting continues through Thursday, we’re told.

I could care less where the man decides to eat lunch, but it certainly looks like a movie worth checking out. Thanks.

FYI: The gentleman (MLB executive) who signed Jackie Robinson and contributed to the historic de-segregation of major league baseball was Branch Rickey the GM for the Brooklyn Dodgers.

So Mr. Ford is playing Branch Rickey – COOL!!!
