I beg to differ…..try going from 75K on January 21, 2001 to NOTHING on 9/11…after beiing laid off from United Airlines…and couldn’t find employment for over TWO YEARS — TWICE!! Try having to take a job paying less than $8/hr and couldn’t pay bills!! I was able to find employment under Obama less than SIX MONTHS after his inauguration….in my field of expertise at a comparable scale that I ws making in the late 90s!! I’m doing MUCH better than I was during the Bush Years; where were you when the nation was getting BUSHwhacked???

@Robert- You mention all of the White Groups but what about the “Black Panthers”? I do not see any white people in that group and in fact, I do believe they hate white people. Obama is black? I disagree with the comment that the Varsity food is only acceptable to young people. When I was young, those dogs only barked at night, about 2-3 AM. @Myth, Just wondering where are you getting your information from? Please provide a link or links because I would really love to read these articles. One question I have is do you really believe that ANY President can make a decision on his own, without having Congress to approve, excluding certain military excursions? Sorry but Obama did not kill Osama, the Navy Seals Team Six risked their life to perform this task, Obama promised to lower the national debt, it has only increased since he has taken office. Show me a picture of any President, touring the poor neighborhoods and standing side-by-side with the poor people.

Let us harp on the WMD that Bush told us about, noting that he was given inaccurate information on that. Obama promised to end the war if he was elected. Here, almost 4 years later, the war is still going on and will not end until 2014. WOW, 6 years to bring the war to an end after Obama told us he would pull the troops out. I call that a victory for him for getting this promise completed in only 6 years.

The true fact here is that no matter which President, Republican or Democrat, is elected to office, he/she will never fulfill the promises that was made to get them elected. I do not care who the President is, black or white or any other race, as long as they do what they say they are going to do and treat everyone equal and do the very best that they can to improve the USA to keep the jobs here, to make sure everyone has healthcare, investigate why Doctors, Hospitals charge so much for saving a life, provide protection to this GREAT LAND of OUR’s. Provide money to help create a better technology than anyone else, TAKE CARE OF THE AMERICANS FIRST before sending all this money over-seas to help those countries surpass the USA and make us nothing but a third world country, oh Lord let me stop here as I could go on and on, I would gladly support this kind of President.

I am not going to sit here and spew hate filled messages out to other bloggers because they do not see eye to eye with me. If you want to do that, feel free to because it only shows everyone else that you cannot listen to reason and pick the better President, not based on race or sex but based on the track record this person has ever since they got involved with politics.

There is good and bad in every race in this WORLD. I pray each night that God calls his children home very soon because of what is happening in this world brings tears to my eyes. It is a sad day when you have a disagreement and instead of talking about it, guns are pulled out and people are killed. Lot of the time it is the innocent child that paid the price. The days are gone when you step on someone’s toe, you apologize, shake hands and all is forgotten but now, step on someone’s toe and the next thing you know, you are being sued. How sad has America become? Very sad. Just goes to show that the end of days are near, if you believe in God. Open You eyes and see that everyone’s rights are being taken away.

Mountain Dew soda, a product of the Pepsi Company, has been deemed the culprit in creating a high incidence of severe tooth decay in children from extremely poor regions, such as Appalachia, where there is often little resources or opportunity for routine dental care.

A 20 ounce bottle of Mountain Dew contains 19 teaspoons of sugar, 93 milligrams of caffeine and acid that causes enamel erosion. In the wake of the documentary, Pepsi Cola company issued a statement saying that their product could not be blamed for the poor oral hygiene of the people in Appalachia. The company’s premise was that the children needed to be taught to brush frequently, and floss regularly, in order to avoid tooth decay.

Subsequently, the company had a change of heart and publicized that they would contribute to helping the people of Appalachia with their dental needs.

Mountain Dew is sweet and kids love it. They sip it in school, during after school activities and in the evening while watching television. Sipping Mountain Dew in this manner, throughout the day, is equivalent to soaking the teeth in sugar.

“An estimated 24.8 million white people live in Appalachia, and this population often has the highest concentrations of chronic illnesses like diabetes and obesity,” said Laureen Smith, PhD, RN, study investigator and assistant professor in the College of Nursing.

Oh goodness. How this country has changed through the years and NOT for the best. This hatred toward each other just because of skin color is so wrong. I am so glad I have raised my children to look beyond the color of one’s skin. It’s kids like mine that have the greatest chance of changing this country from the pitiful situation it finds itself in now with all the name calling and apathy. Comments like these do nothing to make this country stronger or better. It really amazes me that people get on the internet behind a pseudo name and make these outrageous comments. As a military brat, I grew up with patriotism and the belief that my father was a hero for protecting free speech for all people. I’m sorry he lost his life for this so called “free speech”. I know a lot of people are ill- informed about ObamaCare. Those who have money and can afford health care hate Universal health care. Those who do not have money think otherwise. But we should all stop brief and ask for the basic and most fundamental definition of the word INSURANCE.

Insurance means sharing the cost of our risks among ourselves. We do it when we are on the job. Why can’t we take it Universal. Some people are very angry because they think they would be sharing the risks with other people they do not like. Hey this is the real world.

The second thing I want to point out is that the present economic woes is not regional, it is global and this is due to unfication of the economies of the world. The problem is more than we were given. IT WAS SIMPLY A MESS. It will take decade to solve it It is not President Obama’s fault. I do not think Mitt Romney has the magic wand either. He has not even come out with his economic plan. Because he has none and he knows the problem is very serious.

We need to examine the economic platform we are operating on right now. The platform of excessive profitability by tout emsemble. There is the need for a new economic theories to emerge. The free market system has come crushing on its knees. Economists should admit the realities and tell people the absolute thruth. Right now we need Populist Capitalism.

Do not blame President Obama at all. It takes a very short time to destroy a system but it takes a long time to repair the system. Bush’s tax cut plan has failed and my Republican friends should admit this as a bad move the country made and then together we begin to fix the problems. This is what President Obama has been hammering upon. No soceity has ever survived when one percent of the population control almost 40 percent of the national wealth. Such societies collapse including the rich. This is what Warren Buffet wants to convey to his other rich friends.

All said and done President Obama has been a good President inspite of a hateful and non performing Congress.

Just a note: Every political person that is not for Obamacare or I call Peoplecare already has insurance, arm yourself with knowledge, by reading facts and comment less. People perish…..when there is no knowledge …….if your employer provides you with insurance “today” now truthfully would you be in a position to purchase your own? Most Americans cannot, that is why we need Peoplecare Insurance no matter who presents it. People should always matter. Most people strike out before they are armed with information. Reading insurance law and provisions is time consuming but you have to do this to really know what you are talking about or hating about. Most Americans do not even know the facts because they do not read they hear it and start hating. When did you last read your car insurance policy or homeowners policy there are changes there , do you know why? It takes to much time to do this, so we settle for the little we hear, look at television and do word of mouth. Most people do not even read their own mail ……so for once be bigger than hatred, it is guaranteed to bring you a better life you and your children. Ignorance begets ignorance only it never takes you forward and hatred never brings you to happy. It is never too late to change. I love black and white people and all the in between we are all People. So for the ones that continue this hatred no matter your race GOD Himself knows how to deal with you all on his own and that is a Promise that will not be broken.
