Restaurant seeks “Atlanta’s perkiest girls,” no experience necessary

Wrong "Twin Peaks." Oops.

Wrong "Twin Peaks." Oops.

A new restaurant aiming to employ “Atlanta’s perkiest girls” will hold a “casting call” on Friday.

If hired, a “Twin Peaks Girl” can expect a “flexible scheduling for school, a fun work environment with amazing tips, tanning and fitness packages, cool employee contests to win shopping sprees and vacations, the privilege to wear the cute pro-cheerleader-inspired ‘Lumber-Jill’ costume and the chance to star in modeling opportunities.”

Oh, and no restaurant experience is necessary.

The restaurant, to be located at 3365 Piedmont Rd., invites applicants to drop by between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. June 22.

“Prospective employees should arrive dressed to impress with their bubbly personalities in tow,” the notice reads.

Twin Peaks will accept applications for kitchen staff too. Presumably those folks do need experience, and perkiness is optional. Here’s the restaurant chain’s web site, for more information.

My prediction- will survive for a year, maybe 1.5 yrs. People will def want to go check out the girls and such, but I’m sure the novelty will wear off after all the bad and overpriced food.

The same was said about H@@TERS. I think you and I both would love to own one of those restaurants as a large portion of our retirement plan, ehhh?

Aw man, I got so excited when I saw a photo of the Man From Another Place. What a let down. I’m a huge fan of the series and David Lynch’s work in general. I thought we were getting some much more interesting news than this. Oh well.

I went to your website and looked at the menu…. So many things sounded so good. Comfort food. But, the pictures and wording make it look like a bar for men???

I think Adam Carolla would agree that men are not good at dressing up in lumber jill outfits and being perky.
