Jason Bateman at the Georgia Aquarium

Jason Bateman’s been in Atlanta for a while now filming a movie called “ID Theft.” It’s a comedy also starring Melissa McCarthy about a guy who has his identity stolen by a woman.
In his downtime Bateman and his family visited the Georgia Aquarium on June 8. Here he is making friends with one of the residents of the popular tourist attraction.
“ID Theft” has filmed in numerous metro Atlanta locations and has been shooting south of the city, in the Hampton area, in recent days.
McCarthy and her husband, Ben Falcone, have been spotted enjoying Atlanta in between takes, too. They took in a Braves game not long ago.

In case you missed it, Harrison Ford has been spending a lot of time and money in Macon this month filming “42″, the Jackie Robonson story. This comes on the heals of Clint Eastwood also having filmed a baseball movie in March in Macon and spending a lot of $$$ down there. Evidently Georgia has the “touch” for baseball movies as this may be the 5th and 6th baseball themed movies filmed here!

Call me a “former” fan, Jason. It was not a good idea to pet the dolphins at the Georgia Aquarium. It sends a signal to locals that you are just another celebrity pandering to the cameras at the dolphin’s expense. Not everyone in Atlanta is a fan of that aquarium, and by association, you have sullied yourself. You could, however, post a public apology.
