Members of the Cullen clan are headed to town. You can pick up free – yes free - tickets to a fan event to be held Monday at the Buckhead Theatre. Tickets will be given out starting at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Buckhead Theatre. You can line up as early as 7 a.m.

The event, hosted by Summit Entertainment to promote the upcoming release of the movie officially called “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 1,” will  include giveaways, a performance by soundtrack artist Christina Perri and appearances by cast members Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Charlie Bewley and Jackson Rathbone.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Remember: tickets are free but only available if you pick them up. First come, first served.

The NBA season is still on hold but shoot, who needs ‘em? Atlanta Hawks player Damien Wilkins and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member NeNe Leakes are teaming up for a fun exhibition game Saturday to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta.

Leakes and producer Drumma Boy will serve as “celebrity coaches” for the Fan Fest, planned for 3 p.m. Saturday at Clark Atlanta University.

Karmella Daniel will sing the national anthem and Untitled, an R&B group backed by rapper Ludacris, will perform at halftime.

Scheduled to take the court will be Wilkins and some of his NBA buddies: Anthony Morrow, Chris Wilcox, Derrick Favors, James Harden, Jarrett Jack, Jeff Green, Jeff Teague, Joe Johnson, Jordan Crawford, Josh Smith, Lou Williams, MarShon Brooks, Mike Beasley, Rudy Gay, Shannon Brown, Solomon Jones, Travis Leslie and Trey Thompkins.

Ryan Seacrest, the new hardest working man in show business, adds to his already bountiful repertoire with a film project with Reese Witherspoon, the Hollywood Reporter reports.

Seacrest, who hails from metro Atlanta and got his start on Star 94 here, has an ever expanding empire including a radio show of his own and hosting gigs on “American Idol,” numerous red carpets.

He comes home fairly regularly. His charitable foundation launched a radio program for the young patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Here’s a link to a story about that project, “The Voice.”

He was seen around town quite frequently last year, when gal pal Julianne Hough was here filming the “Footloose” remake. Here’s a link to a story about where the two were spotted.

Seacrest and Witherspoon will serve as co-producers of the as yet unnamed project. It’ll be a romantic comedy.

Eager to elevate Atlanta’s cultural landscape, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member Cynthia Bailey, right, is co-hosting a black-tie soiree themed “The Gentleman’s Ball: A Celebration of The True Gentleman” later this month.

Joining Bailey will be former “Good Day Atlanta” host Suchita Vadlamani. The event is planned for 7 p.m. to midnight Nov. 11 at the Georgia Freight Depot, next to Underground Atlanta.

“We are producing this event because the community is in desperate need of social elevation,” event organizers explained in a statement. “It’s time for us to be wined, dined and serenaded. We believe there are many men looking to attend an event of such exquisite taste.”

Proceeds benefit Corporate Code, which hosts monthly seminars for men on issues including interview appropriate attire, career counseling, stress management, money management and conflict resolution. The event’s site promises “an evening of delightful decadence where sophistication and class …

Happy Thursday. Here’s what I know.

“Flight,” starring Denzel Washington and John Goodman, has been filming in an apartment complex off Glenridge Drive in Sandy Springs and also at St. Joseph’s Hospital on “Pill Hill” this week. Goodman and Washington worked together before, on the supernatural thriller “Fallen.” This project, about a heroic pilot with a mysterious past, sounds intriguing too.

“Parental Guidance,” starring Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, Marisa Tomei and Tom Everett Scott, filmed for a couple of days at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre this week before heading up to Ocee Park in John’s Creek.

This family friendly movie, due out in time for Thanksgiving 2012, filmed in Piedmont Park for a few days as well but has done a good bit of shooting OTP, including at Perimeter Mall the other day, where this photo was taken. The movie folks had a strict no-pictures policy …

“This is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. I see all of the support and I am so thankful for my fans, friends and family who are helping me through this difficult time.

Rapper T.I. dressed as former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick for Halloween.

T.I., recently released from prison after serving time on a probation violation stemming from a weapons charge, partied at the Gold Room. He was wearing the Philadelphia Eagles jersey now worn by Vick, who served time on charges he ran a dogfighting ring. T.I.’s wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, was dressed in a sexy “referee” getup.

Since his release T.I. has celebrated a different sort of release: of his new novel. Here’s a link to a story about it.

“I absolutely love it. I’m not going to lie. I’m loving Atlanta,” said Andy Fickman, director of “Parental Guidance,” which has been filming in and around his new favorite town.

The project, starring Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, Marisa Tomei, Tom Everett Scott and others, is filming at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center this week. We visited the set last week, when it was filming in Piedmont Park.

It seems Fickman runs a tight but fun ship. The movie, about a couple (Crystal and Midler) who are taking care of their three grandchildren while trying to reconcile with their estranged daughter (Tomei), features several young actors. Fickman demanded take after take after take, but frequently took care to praise 6-year-old Kyle Harrison Breitkopf’s performance.

“Good job, Kyle! You got it, Kyle!” we could hear Fickman saying to the adorable young actor.

“Being a dad, you sort of start with a sense of what would you want your kid to go through,” Fickman said of the family …
