Where did Paula Deen dine in Atlanta?

Ab9oHNuCMAAJMuFCookbook author, magazine mogul and Food Network personality Paula Deen was in town over the weekend. She had an appearance Saturday at the BJ’s wholesale club in Woodstock.

Sunday night, she showed up at the Dantanna’s in Buckhead.

She ordered the “Buffalo Trace Bourbon BBQ Giant Beef Rib” menu item, along with potato salad and chicken wings. She apparently raved about the potato salad, saying only her own recipe is better!

For dessert she had the Krispy Kreme bread pudding.

She must have enjoyed her meal – look at this nice photo of her posing with Chef Tim Mastalski!

Based on her food choices, there is no wonder she’s wearing those loose fitting sweaters. :(

franklly I think she is a phoney with that fake smile with those capped teeth & all of us do not say Y’all all the time like she does & yes her food is full of grease, fat & some of her recipes are awful & all she does is have her family on her show talking about milking for every dime

Jennifer,

I love the buzz because it takes my mind off of some of the things on the front page and its also amusing to see how many mean spirited idiots enjoy it as well.I guess throwing mud on other people makes some of us feel better about ourselves.

I love Paula – she is comfortable in her own skin and we all should take note of that. My grandmother cooked like Paula, raised 8 kids and lived to be 92 – something to be said for Real Cooking

Has that son who crochets his hair to cover the balding come out yet? Could you imagine being an aging queen and having that hog as your mama? I’ll bet she dresed him in drag when he was a kid.

Just wondering if comments were not anonymous if folks would be so free and easy with mean spirited comments. If you don’t like her, that’s okay, I’m not a fan myself, but why go out of your way to write such nasty comments?

I remember her from the eighty’s when I went to Georgia Southern, really nice lady with a pleasent attitude. She was known for feeding Savannah’s homeless with her leftovers but she never publicized it. She gets press for a good reason, she’s an O.K. lady.

I applaud PD for overcoming agoraphobia and becoming a successful business woman, however, she has ostracized most of her hometown because she isn’t really who you see on TV or in any publicity stunt/event. Go back and watch some of her early episodes when she was “a real boy”. She wasn’t fake with her attitude and her accent. So sad.

@Seriously? – This is the entertainment portion of the website and is a blog. It’s not meant to be hard hitting news. The question I have is: Why did you read the article and then take time to post a message if you were so bothered by it being on the website? LOL!

I am surprised to see she really does practice what she preaches. I thought for sure she must be a closet salad-eater. Was her husband with her or is he still in bed trapped under the TV tray loaded with chicken and waffles from her brunch special?

Thanks for your comments. It always amuses me when people click on the celeb blog and then complain it’s not straight news. I wonder if these folks go into Home Depot and complain about all the nails and hammers. Oh well.

Once again I sign on to read the Buzz of the day and what do I get? Miserable, hateful people who don’t deserve access to the internet.

Jennifer I often wonder how you can stand some of this venom that is spewed daily on on the Buzz. .
I would have love to meet her. I happen to like her down to earth persona. I’d love to go to Savannah and visit her restaurant.

It is very obvious that some people don’t like others who have success. Maybe if some of you spent less time bitching about other people and their success, you might improve on your own miserable lives.

Gotta love Jennifer,
She takes time to give people what they want. (The Scoop). And all they can do is show how miserable their lives are, and the hate that exudes out of them. Jennifer shows a lot of class, not even responding to them. Keep doing your thing! Don’t give in to the negativity of the “dumb masses’ ! LOL!
