Ne-Yo gets an assist from Jay-Z
Rapper Jay-Z spelled Atlanta R&B star Ne-Yo recently when Ne-Yo had to cancel a planned performance in New York due to the birth of his second child, a son named Mason.
Jay-Z, an expectant dad himself, came to the rescue.
Ne-Yo was supposed to perform for about 100 people at a private party, the Johnny Love Fashion Presentation at CO-OP Food & Drink at The Hotel on Rivington in New York. But just a few hours before he was supposed to take the stage, his fiancee Monyetta Shaw went into labor. She and Ne-Yo also have a daughter, Madilyn, together.
Guests were bummed that their planned entertainment had to bail, but their disappointment didn’t last long. Jay-Z, expecting a child with his wife Beyonce, showed up as a surprise. His security team escorted him straight up to the CO-OP Penthouse, where he posed for this photos with designer and model Kelly Bensimon.
We love happy endings.

alpha, A good way to show that you don’t care is to not comment or click on the story. Obviously you do care about this man, who according to you has not talent, but he’s still managed to make himself a multi millionaire. Maybe you should take lessons from him, stop being jealous of people for no reason, and concentrate on the things that you do care about, and that actually have an impact on your life. The same can be said about the silly people who are upset when someone dates outside of their race.

here we go again. that person is from ny housewives and is crazy. period. her smile and her pose are both fake and she would not touch jay z with a ten inch pole if it were not for the photo op. and anyone who has seen her in action would not touch her either, i think i read where she stalked or beat up her last boyfriend. jay z has more money than anyone on this blog and than most people who read this paper. get over it. and ummmmmm, btw–jennifer gets paid for every word she writes about the entertainers you love to hate. and i hope she gets a bonus for every stupid comment you write trying to insult her, as it simply adds to her blog count, duhh.

@Scott, you are so correct! ATL, will never be the ELITE city that its suppose to be because of all the ignorant, simple minded racist that love to divide everything between black and white. Racism is a 2 way street, I see whites do it and I see blacks do it. Until we start respecting each other, Atlanta will always be the little southern town that never grew up.
