Will and Jada Pinkett Smith say they’re still together

Will Smith and his wife of 13 years, Jada Pinkett Smith, are NOT splitting up, despite what In Touch Weekly reports.
The couple released a statement after dominating blog and Twitter chatter today.
“Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false,” they said in a statement posted on People’s web site. “We are still together, and our marriage is intact.”
Earlier the actor’s son Trey Smith tweeted in response to the magazine’s touted intel from an inside source. In Touch gave few details on its web site, other than urging people to buy the magazine.
But Trey Smith’s Twitter feed was emphatic: “No they did NOT split ! False information ..it’s not true RETWEET!” followed by “Everyone can think what they want ..even if it’s not true. #Lame” And so on.
Radar Online posted a report disputing the Splitsville rumor earlier in the day. It quotes another secret source saying the first one had it all wrong. Here’s that story.
TMZ, never one to shy away from celeb scoop, posted the greatest publicist denial ever, quoting Jada Smith’s rep, Karynne Tencer, thusly:
“What? In Touch said that? I know nothing about this … Lord. I’m going back to bed.”
The Smiths’ children include young stars Jaden Smith (”The Karate Kid” remake) and Willow Smith (”Whip My Hair.”) They were just named to this list of “10 celeb couples with a balanced lifestyle.”

I don’t know if it’s true, but I never felt their stuff was as gooey as they project. Just like Arnold and Maria, etc. i didn’t buy it. But time will tell. Even here in ATL, don’t be so impressed with all the smiling couple photos we see, esp the first families of certain educational institutions here in the ATL. Good pictures, image, social status—-looks good to the unknowing, but horrific marriages. some hardly speak behind closed doors. but lights, camera, smile. ATL is the Hollywood of the south, so… same ilk.
Earthquake in DC, too. The world’s coming to an end :-}?? And, no , J&W aren’t the Black Power couple… [puh-lease]

Congratz, you are a real man, a GOOD lover makes LOVE to MANY women but a GREAT lover makes love to ONE woman for a lifetime and you’re right that swinging crap will eventually fail and for people who say monogamous doesn’t work, you either haven’t found the right person you want to truly be with or just too damn immature. Sometimes people think they found the right person and get hurt unfortunately but just stick in there and keep your heart open for a better person.

It has been disspelled as rumor people – the son has come forward and stated as such. Another rag mag is reporting that Will said he isn’t sure where the rumor started but he and jada are good. So to the people slamming them about being bisexual/gay and that they were doomed to failure because of their open marriage (makes no sense – if it is open – they have no reason to leave – it isn’t cheating to them) you can now cease with the statements. If it isn’t true – then being gay and having an open marriage must be the key to THEIR happiness in THEIR marriage – marriage isn’t one size fits all – to each his own. if it is true 60% of marriages end in divorce-so why are you shocked?

That’s life. Hopefully they will continue to be together. Show biz is a messy business anyway. Too much temptation is out there and they don’t seem to “yeild” when it comes to that. I’m not talking about the Smiths, but all of the show biz folks. Rumors anyway. If they split-they split, but I think it’s a lie.

You are admired sooooo much as a couple, as parents of wonderful children, and I am an old lady who has seen a lot of marriages in life and not easily uprooted with stars and their hooplas: however, for some reason or another, I have always felt that you two did it: you are accomplishing the ” impossible “.success with family and careers…You don t owe us, the public, a cotton pickin thing but it really does make us old timers feel good to see you young folks have ” good success “…which is the ability to raise great kids, love and respect each other, and make a lot of dough in the meantime…I am praying for your family to stay strong…
