Jennifer Lopez acting like a diva on Atlanta sets?
Has a Jennifer Lopez-Cameron Diaz catfight broken out on the set of “What To Expect When You’re Expecting?”
This Gawker post titled “Jennifer Lopez Wages Silent War on Trash-Talking Cameron Diaz” paraphrases Diaz complaining about the size of J-Lo’s entourage. But that’s about it. Even the Gawker writer ranks it pretty low on the Diva Meter.
However, our sources have provided a little on-set scoop. When the movie was filming at Smith’s Olde Bar on Piedmont Avenue near Monroe Drive, they rented out nearby Glory Be salon to serve as Lopez’ green room. Apparently her trailer was parked down the road in a church parking lot, but that was deemed too far away.
So when she wasn’t needed in front of the camera, J-Lo was chillaxing a few doors down at Glory Be. Salon owner Gloria Garner told us the movie folks came in to hang thick black drapery on the windows so the star could be assured of absolute privacy.
But that’s not all.
Smith’s and Glory Be, in the same little strip of stores, are just a few doors down from each other. You can walk from one door to the other in about 30 seconds. Not J-Lo, though. We hear an SUV with dark tinted windows was waiting behind Smith’s, then backed down the alley to deposit her at the salon’s back door, whenever she wanted to go back and forth.
Of course, she had reason to be cautious. The newly single J-Lo – who had her kids with her – is paparazzi gold these days. Movie sets, increasingly a common sight in Atlanta, don’t generally attract a crowd (more commonly, they generate complaints if roads have to be closed). But when Lopez was filming at Smith’s, photographers eager for a glimpse at J-Lo crowded in across the street.
In her free time J-Lo kept in on the down-low, remaining out of the spotlight. Diaz, on the other had, has enjoyed getting out and about. She had lunch with her mom at South City Kitchen in Midtown the other day and returned the same day for dinner and drinks with a group of friends. Although the Midtown restaurant has a semi-private dining room upstairs, Diaz required no privacy measures and had no big requests. (She asked for some muddled mint for her tea, but that’s pretty run-of-the-mill).
Diaz dined out on South City’s patio, and while she was there, Charles Barkley and Chris Rock, also starring in “What To Expect,” happened by and stopped to visit.
“I can’t imagine what it must have been like to walk down Crescent Avenue and see Cameron Diaz, Charles Barkley and Chris Rock shooting the (breeze),” SCK server Katy Reese told us.
If there has been any tension between the two stars, it’s probably all over, as we hear Lopez has finished filming her portion of the film.

LOL, I agree. Why not Carrie Underwood or some other younger country celebrity who is actually still hot? And for all those pro-Reba folks on the blog, don’t give me that “oh she’s still beautiful at age XX” junk. She might be beautiful for age XX but she’s not J-lo, Carrie, etc.

Who are all these ignorant A-holes saying J.Lo is a big girl, not everybody wants a skinny rail with fake balloon t*tties walking around? Real women have curves (not advocating being overweight), but how else can you differentiate a man from a woman if the woman has no breasts or a**?! Marilyn Monroe is the one of the most revered sex icons from Hollywood and she was a very curvaceous woman. I don’t know too many men who want to cuddle with bones and silicone. I actually Like J-lo. I’ve seen most of her movies, love Maid in Manhattan, enough, and a few other ones. I’m not really into her singing tho, Its not really that good. I wouldn’t buy her music, but I would download it for free… When I hear of an actor or actress that has a God like complex, or an attitude, or treats people wrong, that does tend to make me shy away from them. We all pull our pants on the same way, we all bleed red, and seriously, people need to stop thinking they are God just because they are rich.

Okay, the owner/”Glory Be” accepted a lot of money for her hair salon to be rented as an office by J-Lo then finked out to the papparazzi about her client and cashed the check then told everybody. What ever happened to common decency? I’m sure that that salon will not see an increase in clients once this news gets out that they talk behind the backs of clients. Also, J-Lo has her kids with her and as everyone knows the back alley of “Smith’s” ain’t Rodeo Drive so security had to have a close handle on the family to begin with. Gossip is one thing, but the facts are always in between the lines. To “Glory Be”, you will never cut my hair again.
