TV host Nancy Grace called the other day as she was wheeling into Jay Leno’s parking lot. Gone was the aggressive bark that characterized her coverage of the Casey Anthony trial on HLN.
“We’re all just exhausted,” said Grace, who, believe it or not, is quite soft-spoken in person.
While encamped in Orlando for the blockbuster trial, she said, she and her husband David Linch found time for some family fun.
“When I wasn’t on air we spent time at Disney, Sea World,” said Grace, the mother of 3-year-old twins. “After the verdict I got in bed with John David and Lucy and just held them and thought about Caylee, God rest her soul.”
At the mention of the adorable child at the center of the trial, Grace started picking up steam. She won’t call the little girl’s mother by her name.
“I believe Tot Mom wanted a whole new life. She wanted to be free and single,” Grace said. “She used Chloroform as a babysitter.”
As the trial wore on and concluded Grace became more animated. After the verdict, when Anthony was acquitted of murder and other serious charges (being found guilty only of providing false information to law enforcement officers), Grace memorably commented, “The devil is dancing tonight.”
The Macon native’s colorful language has resulted in criticism from some circles. Here’s a link to an Atlantic story detailing some of that sentiment. Its headline is “Nancy Grace Under Fire.”
Grace, as you’d imagine, is untroubled.
“So be it. My viewers have stuck with me through thick and thin,” said the HLN host, who racked up historic ratings during the trial. “The only people commenting about me, my show or my style are TV pundits or media critics.”
Grace predicts long-term implications from what she calls “a miscarriage of justice.” She thinks it will diminish people’s faith in the legal system.
“It will have the same affect that the OJ acquittal had,” she said. Although Casey Anthony is keeping a very low profile now, Grace wouldn’t be surprised to see her land a book deal or some other lucrative opportunity.
“It just adds insult to injury,” Grace said. “I don’t like to see people profit over crime. The only thing she’s told the truth about so far is Caylee’s DOB. [A book] would really just be another pack of lies.”

Nancy Grace is the devil who is dancing on the grave of a dead child. Her motivation is ratings plain and simple and her behaviour speaks of it. If she truly CARED about crime victims she would be doing something quietly and positive for them. Of course she LOVES victims because that’s what lines her pocketbook.

I am going to say one last thing about this…I am baffled…Maybe not the death penalty, I get it not enough evidence, but sCA should have been charged with everything else…And she needed to be held accountable for her “lie” and pay back ALL the tax payer’s money on top of fines and fees….
I will never purchase anything she tries to sell, nor watch her interviews if any…She has nothing to say if you thnk about it…Either she can say she did kill Casey or just keep quiet…She really does not have a lot to go on in my opinion…
In the end if she really cared anything about her daughter she would have called the police in the first place when caylee died…and how ever that was CA should have spoke in court…She owed that to her daughter…
Now Caylee’s death turns into a circus of publicity, maybe a profit, and lot of waisted time and money…
How is CA really being held responsible, and what lesson is she learning from all this? Does she even understand even her lieing is evil? Does she even feel sorry?
In my personal opionon, the system failed, she is mentaly and moraly void, and because she basically was told Bad Girl For lieing, and then set free. She will have no moral knowledege of right and wrong….Look at OJ….
She will be back in prison…

All of these people who think Nancy is wrong and believe we should leave this self centered murdering mother alone, just who do they think threw that precious gift into a muddy swamp to smell,, rot,be eaten by varmints, crawled over by snakes, There will never be anyone held accountable for this babys death because of both the prosecution and the defense, the prosecution for over charging and the defense by smoke, mirrors, and unethical lies. I am disgusted by the whole thing.

Also, who could possibly believe she anything she says in a book. She will either continue to lie, which we have already heard, lie about someone else like she did her father, or tell the truth, which is highly unlikely as 2/3 of the population hates her because she killed her daughter and if she tell the truth the other 1/3 will hate her and she will never have peace, which is what she deserves.

Katie, Nancy Grace is a consummate liar herself. She lies about her record as a prosecutor, she lies about the murder of her “fiance” when in fact they hadn’t been together for years. She told lies during the Anthony trial such as a heart shaped sticker being found on the duct tape when in fact it hadn’t.
Sorry but I do think Nancy Grace is wrong. Programs such as hers should be left to the professionals and not someone like her with a not so stellar record. Her unethical behavior has allowed criminals to go free in Georgia. Also due to her the family of Melissa and Trenton Duckett have no answers as to Trenton’s disappearance after Melissa committed suicide. Because of that alone I find Nancy Grace repulsive.

so glad to see the many people who recognize just how ghastly ugly Nancy Grace appears, AND the vacuity of her comments (hate masquerading as insight). By the way, after Grace had vilified, accused of murder and demanded the execution the man who died in jail accused in the Smart case, (a crime he was absolutely innocent of), Grace refused to apologize for her overzealous attack. Want to feel sorry for a young child? Imagine what it mus be like to grow up with a screaming harridan of a mother watching your every move. I can see Grace with her face inches from her child’s face, DEMANDING the child explain who stole the cookie from he jar.

Nancy is dangerous. She’s wrong more times than she is right. And HLN gives her the platform to defame people. Geez, even TMZ had to correct their slanderous reporting. Here’s a couple more folks Nancy has insisted were criminals:
- The Ramsey’s who were cleared of their darling JonBenet’s murder.
- Jerry Hobbs – who was cleared of murdering his own 8-year-old daughter, Laura Hobbs and her friend, 9-year-old Krystal Tobias.
- She slandered Sal and Mabel Mangano of St Rita’s Nursing home, who were found not guilty of any wrong doing when their nursing home was flooded and 35 of the residents perished during Hurricane Katrina flooding.
I hope Casey Anthony sues both Nancy Grace & HLN and gets her due share of the profits that they have made over the last 3yrs (and continue to do so) with their ‘ratings’ witch hunt.

Nancy Dis-Grace convicts without knowing all of the facts. She believes guilty before proven innocent. It’s simply disgraceful that HLN allows her to ruin lives in the name of ratings. That devil comment was crossing the line. God help those she sets her sights on.

I also worked with Nancy and I found her to be a kind young lady with a wonderful and loving family. Those of you who are being so negative about her seem to have nothing unkind to say about Casey Anthony yet her own parents apparently are having nothing to do with her. By the way, to those who claim Nancy has made false claims in many areas, can you provide proof? Also, do you give any thought to little Caylee and the fact that she was just thrown away? Did you ever see Casey showing any sadness during the trial that would indicate she misses her child?

NG made false claims (lies) again on last nights show-a bunch of hoopla over some “missing” evidence that could have nailed Anthony. Problem is there was no evidence “missing” suddenly to be found. A quick google search and this was a subject of a hearing in Feb of 09.
Anthony’s diary entry dated June 21 (no year)–
“Grace then read the diary entry, which said word for word, ‘I have no regrets, just worried. I want everything to work out, OK? I trust my own judgment. I know I made the right decision. I hope the end justifies the means.’”
Grace insinuated this was a confession!
Grace glossed over the FACT that no year was present on that particular entry, BUT on a previous page an entry was clearly dated 2003, 2 years before Caylee was born.
The heart shaped sticker NG claims was placed on the duct tape “directly” over Caylee’s mouth is completely untrue also.

Deb, perhaps you might be willing to entertain the idea that if “a child murderer walks our streets,” Nancy Grace might be the person responsible for that! Her (Grace’s) relentless insistence on Casey Anthony’s guilt probably forced the prosecution to go ahead with charges that were unprovable and pressured the police to ignore other possible perpetrators of some crime (covering up maybe) because Grace had so poisoned the atmosphere. I too have ideas about what may have caused Caylee to die and caused her body to be placed where it was placed, but, unlike Ms. Grace, I am loathe to express what is, after all, merely a guess when that guess might cause hurt to an innocent person. I, like Grace, was not there when Caylee died and her body disposed of. I am very uncomfortable accusing someone of something I have no direct knowledge of. Nancy Grace has NO similar compunction about accusing people!!!!!!!!!

Nancy Grace doesn’t care a dime about little Caylee, she only used her audience to manipulate the information to increase ratings and get a fatter wallet. To read an objective blog in defense of Casey Anthony’s Jury, read http://caseyanthonyjurydefense.blogspot.com/

When was the last time anyone heard Nancy Grace mention missing and likely murdered Haleigh
Cummings, who reportedly disappeared from her Florida home in February 2009? Haleigh’s father,
Ronald Cummings, was on with the woman he adoringly called “Miss Nancy” night after night. Just
because Nancy learned that she had misjudged his character when he was arrested for dealing drugs, along with his young wife/ex-wife, Misty, was not a good reason to abandon poor little Haleigh, who is still missing. Ronald was sentenced to 15 years and Misty was sentenced to 25 years.
The latest I can find on Haleigh is from July 16, HaLeigh Cummings – Prayer Vigil Planned and Balloon Release In Her Honor

If Nancy actually cared about violence against children, she’d drop her bloodlust for Anthony. She’d move on ! To put it in perspective, while Americans have been shedding tears over Caylee, something like 82 children have died because of abuse Rather than doing something about the real, issues that lead to child abuse,Ms. Grace is searching for a convenient target for revenge.

Nancy Grace made Casey Anthony famous. Nancy Grace made her not guilty and set her free. Nancy Grace will also contribute to the fact that Casey Anthony will be millionnaire. What’s making me sick is to see that we was able to bring with her so many persons fullfiled with hate and vengance. Are we in the middle age ? Are we ?
I’m sure that Nancy Grace is aware of what she had done and it is burning inside her. I just hope that she will admit this one day. On that day only she will be able to find peace.

Yayyyyyy, I like her. Our world has gotten to were the only joy they have in life are “lies” and “mess”. Nancy Grace is all about “truth”. Something this world cannot handle. Nancy keep speaking “truth” and demanding “truth”. I applaud you and understand your perspective on the Casey trial. Just another tactic to misrepresent what is wrong in the world to be right. Most know that the TV world and your personal life are two different entities. Those that don’t and won’t are just “haters”. You go girl……… Big ups to you.
