Various media reports swirling about suggest that O.J. Simpson, who was acquitted after standing trial for the 1994 murders Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, will confess in a televised interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The National Enquirer reports that Simpson, who is in prison on unrelated robbery, assault and other charges, has told a producer for Winfrey that he acted in self defense.

A representative for Winfrey told The Hollywood Reporter that she has not clinched a confession from Simpson. “That’s not true,” the representative said.
Winfrey has said she very much wants to land the interview and confession for “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” her new show airing on the OWN channel.
“I have a dream of O.J. Simpson confessing to me,” she said at the NCTA’s annual Cable Show in Chicago, THR reported recently. “I don’t just want the interview. I want the interview on the condition that you are ready, Mr. Simpson.”
The interview, which would occur in the prison, would naturally be a ratings bonanza. Stay tuned…
