It was not the Morehouse College Choir. It is the Morehouse College Oprah Scholars. These are the young men who have received scholarships from Oprah over the years to attend Morehouse College.

It never fails to baffle me that so many women take so much advice from an unmarried, childless, over weight woman.

@Will.I.Am- Stop hating. I know many women that are married with 10 kids and fine as wine that I wouldnt take advice from.

@ will.i.am Is it possible that because of Oprah, some unmarried, childless, overweight (????) women, have had the opportunity to see things a little clearer, not having to be stressed with boys for husbands or too many children, Maybe even pursuing a dream or idea that added quality to their lives and the lives of others. Or that those women (and men) who have been in trouble or troubled, have gained some power & strength and rose above their circumstances to go on to acheive great things. It’s called enlightenment and empowerment. Thanks Oprah! Will…be baffled. Thats where we want the likes of you.

@Will.I.Am–What’s more baffling, is that you think a woman has to be married, have children and be average weight to be qualified to have any substantive thoughts that others might want to listen to.

@My opinion–Why would anyone want to force you to take tickets that you clearly didn’t want? If you just don’t like the woman, just say that, but someone wanted her on TV for 25 years, and it was HER decision to let it go.

It never fails to baffle me that so many people believe that being married, having children and being a certain body size ought to be the sum of a woman’s ambition in life.

Jennifer (Re: Concerned) . . . They are NOT singers!!! They are scholars!! They don’t sing at all. Oprah has donated over $10 million to Morehouse which has been used for hundreds of scholarships. The students that you keep referring to as singers are in actuality scholarship recipeints who were there to thank her for helping them get through school. They just showed this on WSBTV.
