Megan Linn and daughter Rosemary, 5, left their Doraville home at 5:30 a.m. to be here. Rosemary is into Disney princesses and her mom wanted her to see a real princess! "We talk about how she is smart, how she went to college," Megan pointed out. Rosemary might need a nap soon.

Who gives a Rats A$$ about that stupid Wedding…They could’ve put those Millions to better use. And why in Gods name would you get up to watch it….what a waste of time. Those of you who got up to watch it need to get a frigging life or maybe a job.

“get a frigging life or maybe a job”? Like making negative comments on a story you ‘don’t care about’? Nice try, idiot.

All the negativity and resentment… I can only think you must be democrats, because if it is not beneifting you…. you cannt be happy for anyone else’s happy moment, you sad pathetic excuse for a human… There is nothing wrong in celebrating and enjoying someone elses happiness, it does not have to always be about you! REALLY you need to get a life, or keep your imagined misery to yourself!

I’m sorry, but I thought her dress and head thing were disappointing….OK, they were downright dowdy. And she’d so beautiful with a great sense of style.

jms,

I’m a Dem and yet not too cynical to (get up early to watch and) be happy for a couple in love and a people who have a collective symbol they hold dear. The ability to celebrate and be happy for someone else is not a partisan thing, so why would you make it one on this forum?

It was a wonderful event that provided a great deal of happiness to those of us who watched. Nothing comes close in the U.S. that has such a feeling of class and formal protocol.

Too bad I chose to record it from WSB, which reduced the picture slightly to provide an endless distracting news crawl at the bottom of the screen, frequently advertising Cook’s Pest Control.

In every country there is such a different in how we all are treated. Who would ever think that there are real Prince, Kings and Queens. Here in the US we have the President, First Lady, Vice-President and the Second Lady; after that, there is nothing! If you ever visit London, what you see on TV is real; nothing is fake; you will come to know that they are serious government and the Queen has homes (mansions)) all over. Like our own movies stars here in the US, Royal Families don’t want all of the media, they prefer to be just one of the normal people. They lose a lot of freedom…freedom to do whatever and to go whereever. Prince William and Prince Harry has all of the protection you don’t think they have; and being military is part of the Royal Families duties. She has her own personal guards like our President who has Secret Service Agents; the Queen Guards are massive and they perform their duties flawlessly. Wedding and Parties has to be perfect in the Royal Family because they are watched 24 and 7. The Queen, like our President has to be at her very best at all times. Royal-Families miss being just human beings. They are like babbies; constantly watched over and very well-protected. Just don’t watch the wedding, go behind the curtains and see all of those names you have to remember and the duties the Princess and teh Prince had…when you do, asked yourself; do you want to be of Royal-Family Member.

What do you call a Prince with a pimple on his butt? A Royal Pain in the A$$! Nothing but pageantry and the idiots that got up to watch it are just as dumb.

The country is brilliant, the amount of revenue will top $100’s of millions for their residents. Tourism, hotels, food, retail, labor, transportation and more. It was a small investment compared to the gain. Big picture perspective it paid off. Just like the Olympics, any other large event, it was well worth it for the UK short and long term.
