Join the B 98.5 Morning Show’s Royal Broadcast at the W Buckhead!

keepcalmIf your invitation to the Kate and William Show got lost in the mail, consider this your Plan B.

Vikki Locke, queen of the Atlanta airwaves, and her consort Kelly Stevens, will broadcast the B98.5 FM Morning Show live from the Buckead W hotel’s lobby Friday morning and would love for you to join them.

The first 98 listeners to arrive will receive a commemorative champagne flute, and guests are encouraged to wear their finest millinery.

The show, which airs weekdays from 5 to 9 a.m., will feature interviews with some special guests, including Entertainment Tonight’s Nancy O’Dell and the W will be dishing up a British-inspired breakfast menu.

Plus, you can watch all the action from London on the widescreen television. If that’s a little early for you to be up and about, stay overnight! The hotel is offering some royal rates for the event. See www.watlantabuckhead.com for details.

The fun starts tonight at the Buckhead W, with a “Hen & Stag Party” (which is how Brits refer to bachelor or bachelorette bashes) at Whiskey Blue, the hotel’s top-level bar. That event will feature top hats and tiaras and British-inspired drink specials like Pimms Cups and Irish Car Bombs.

Should you and your prince or princess decide to get hitched on the spot, hotel concierge David-Michael Searcy, who is an ordained minister, will be on hand to officiate.
