Celebrity Apprentice co-star was afraid of NeNe Leakes
Niki Taylor signed an autograph for Sam Keith Jr. during her visit to Atlanta. Keith, of Raleigh, Ga., in the greater Warm Springs metro area, gave her a boiled peanut.
Supermodel Niki Taylor said she was sort of afraid of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member NeNe Leakes when the two met during the filming of “Celebrity Apprentice.”
“She came on a little bit strong,” said Taylor, who stopped by the Atlanta Expo Center representing the Reader’s Digest “We Hear You America” campaign, which is making stops all across the nation, handing out prizes and stoking hometown pride (details: wehearyouamerica.readersdigest.com).
The NBC reality show begins at 9 p.m. March 6. Seeking Donald Trump’s approval along with Leakes and Taylor will be Gary Busey, Meat Loaf, La Toya Jackson, Mark McGrath, David Cassidy, Richard Hatch, Marlee Matlin, Dionne Warwick, Jose Canseco, Star Jones, Lisa Rinna, Lil Jon, John Rich and Hope Dworaczyk.
“I had a lot of fun doing it,” said Taylor, who said her fears of Leakes quickly subsided.
“There’s a very sweet side to NeNe,” she said. “She works hard. She brings it.”
Leakes, who did a short stint with WXIA as a celebrity interviewer last summer, has hinted that she might be ready to part ways with Bravo and try her hand at something else.
“I told her she needs her own show,” Taylor said.
We’re guessing Leakes might agree.

I don’t understand why people are getting all worked up over a REALITY show. This is all television nothing more nothing less. The are the number one rated Housewife show and they want them to act the way they do for the ratings. NeNe is laughing all the way to the bank and could probably care less as to how you feel about her. NeNe will be the one who gets her own show and will make the most money. It all about ratings and money.

@ Ann, I would say if anyone has a chip on their shoulder…it would be YOU with your ignorant comment!!! And for the record, I’ve seen more white women in Atlanta with chips on their shoulders then black women.
The white women walk directly in front of you or bump into you without saying “excuse me”…just rude with no home training or manners. In the parking lots of grocery stores, etc., they walk directly in the path of moving cars..like the cars are going to STOP because they’re white. I’ve only seen this in Atlanta, and I’ve lived in several major cities.

Why is it that everyone who posts a negative comment are “haters” and the positive comments are the “bandwagon” fans? People I’m sure a lot of it is just acting. Unfortunately the more drama the better for the network. Nobody should be intmidated by NeNe. Just let her know you will under no circumstances be taking any S$%T!!!!!! from her and then if necessary back it up. Remember it is a TV show and meant to entertain. NeNe has shown how classless she is this season. I liked NeNe the first couple of season of RHOA but when she starts threatening people that crosses the line. She threatened Kim twice, once last season and once this season. NeNe is a narcissistic, must be the center of attention, ghetto talking tramp. Before she married Gregg she was a pole and lap dancer. She needs to tone the loud voice down and quit getting in peoples face. NeNe’s gonna find she is nothing if / when she leaves RHOA and Bravo.

Ne Ne is a bully and a joke. Let it NEVER be said that black people are not racists. After reading some of the comments here and watching some of the ladies on RHOA I am convinced that racism is alive and well and that makes me sad no matter who is guilty of expressing such ugliness. NeNe is a bully and I don’t care what color she is. Sheree is a fake, Kandi has limited talent, Cynthia is dumb and Kim is cheap and untalented. Phaedra, aside from being somewhat educated, acts like a five year old spoiled brat. So much for the ladies of Atlanta on this show. I’m sure that Atlanta has far better to offer than what we have been shown on Bravo.

Unfortunately, what characterizes Americans the most, to other nations around the world is our ablility to appreciate other people, places and ideas that are not very similar to our own. NeNe Leakes is an original. That is what has made her and The Housewives of Atlanta show sooooooooo famous. People who do not like NeNe are afraid of their own inner-NeNe. There is a part of her in all of us; you know that irrepressible drive to make an injustice correct . . . no matter how slight. NeNe is a fighter and personally I love the way she stands up for what she believes is right!
NeNe does not play games . . . she doesn’t cheat on her husband, she is loyal to her friends and she calls it like she sees it!
