Check out Gucci Mane’s icy new tatt
It looks like rapper Gucci Mane, who was recently ordered by a judge to spend time in a psychiatric hospital, is celebrating his release with some chilly new body art.
YBF and That Grape Juice have posted this photo of Gucci’s latest addition, an ice cream cone with his trademark saying, “Brrr!” encircling the item. (It’s actually “Burr!” Oh well.)
Perfect timing, too, since Atlanta remains in the grips of this ice and snow.
Known in legal circles as Radric Davis, the rapper was ordered recently by Fulton County Superior Court Judge John Goger to the hospital. Gucci’s attorney had filed a “special plea of mental incompetency” on behalf of his client, who has battled drug problems in the past. Gucci was ordered to
Anchor Hospital, a 111-bed psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment facility near the airport. Records show he has been in the Fulton County Jail at least five times since 2005 on drug, aggravated assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges.
The new ice cream tattoo has made Gucci a local trending topic on Twitter, but the reviews don’t seem great.

Well, it is offical, Gucci Mane is a certifiable DUMBASS!!!!! This guy has major problems, and it is a shame this is who some people glorify and look up too. The sad thing is he probably does have a few loose screws up there, but to his “team” or “family” he is the bread winner. But at what point does someone tell him to STOP and THINK before he acts. He probably really does not have anyone around him who cares, because cleraly if he did, he would not be in the situations he seems to always find himself in. He definitely is not playing with a full deck to tatttoo his face. Nothing againest tattoos,I and many of my friends and family have several, but not on the face! He is on the downard spiral and no one around him cares, as long as he continues to support him. What a shame; even more shameful, that he clearly does not care himself!

Music is just that MUsic – whether it be r&b, country, heavy metal, or RAP. It can’t influence anyone to do anything that they don’t want to do. If a person does something it is because they wanted to plain and simple. It is the same as what people are always saying guns don’t kill people – if this is true then how can music make anyone do anything? He has a problem and I think he does it just as other entertainers to stay in the public eye. If you are talked about you are thought about and sadly they don’t care whether it is positive or negative.
Although, I don’t understand why everyone is making a big deal about a tattoo in the face – people get them all the time. Every day people, tattoo artists and other entertainers – so why is it a big deal because he has one? For the record …his psych evaluation was recommened by his atty. This is to make appear as if he was ” mentally unstable and didnt really know what he was doing ” and is pre sentence investigation will consider probation more strongly if you appear to have mental disorders.
His atty made him do that for that very reason. Trust me, the judge has already said that prison was “imminent” so he didnt have a choice. Listen, what bothers me the most is the fact that everyone keeps worshipping entertainers like this guy. I happen to like his music but it would be a mistake to considers his actions as an insult because I am quite sure 99% of you do not even know him personally.
So what if he screws up he really doesnt even have to impress anyone or have to answer to anyone.
HIP HOP is PURELY ENTERTAINMENT NOT A LIFESTYLE. Many rappers lived in the suburbs and hung out in the ghetto. (Ice cube is an example). Most were small time dope dealers and exagerate what they did on the street (Plies) Many even lied about being in prison (Akon was a small time car thief and claimed to have ran a large multi state car theft ring which was a LIE) ….As a matter of fact Rick Ross was a corrections officer for the state of Florida before he became a rapper.

Let me tell you something..there isnt anything cute about prison in any capacity what so ever..
I find it TOTALLY appalling that rappers think it is a “badge of honor ” to say they have been incarcerated. 60% of the inmate population were severally mentally ill,
85% were sex offenders and almost 95% of the victims involved in their sex case were CHILDREN UNDER 13 YRS OLD.
And as you could imagine 70% of the population were homothugs. (act hard when you are with your homies and had a boyfriend at night .)
I think it is ok to allow your children to listen to these songs (Totally.. )
But when your child wants to grow up to “be like that rapper” thats when you failed as a parent.
Just remember AND KEEP IN MIND ….HIP HOP IS ENTERTAINMENT NOT A LIFE STYLE.

Your take on someone not being a “Black Man” because they stated that the world isn’t against you is quite ignorant. I am a Black Man the grew up in the James E Scott Projects of Liberty City (Miami). I and my black male friends have stated on many occasions that the world is against black males that are against themselves, without saying the “The World Isn’t Against Us.” I despise rap music and a lot of the fake R&B that we hear on radio stations today. There is a lack of creativity when so-called musicians have to constantly speak on sex, drugs, money and guns. The same trash has been restated since I was in elementary school back in 1984. Enough is enough, music is powerful. The words that kids and some men that lack self-esteem hear, does contribute to their ignorance; which in turn leads them to death or incarceration.
Gucci Mane is another example of a Black Man lost that has been given many opportunities to rid himself of the ignorant leaches around, but chose to not to do so.
When we all stop accepting this ignorance, some of them my grow the hell up and act as mature adults should.

Does not matter what color he is- if he was white he’d be just as stupid. I don’t think one is really passing judgement; everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. Frankly this guy does not pay a single one of my bills, so I could care less, but seeing as how this is blasted on most blog sites, papers, TMZ, MediaTakeOut, etc, anyone is entitled to offer an opinion. He clearly needs help and what better way to reach out. He did it for attention and so be it; he has to live with it. And yes, funny how V-103 hosted a “Get out of Jail” party for this guy, and today thye were talking about him. They can say they were “joking”, but they (Frank Ski) was cheesing hard with him in a picture not too long ago…..heres to hoping he gets whatever help he needs.

The hip hop culture is so prevalent in ATLANTA that MANY (and I do mean many) sistas in ATL will NOT even talk to you unless you are in the hip hop “world”, (baggy pants, backwards hat bill, fake gold, nice car rented leased or borrowed, brag that you are in the industry, mean mug and acted gansta, and so forth) I’m not just referring to the sistas in the nightclub scene either because the night club scene in Atlanta is a joke for real. Im serious…they act like they do not have anything to say to you unless you are in a rap video. (but the real question is …what are these sistas bringing to the table besides being average looking, slightly and /or extremely overweight and wearing a weave because you bald ?)

He’s currently in jail for drug possession because he violated probation stemming from a conviction for buying automatic weapons. He married his girlfriend AFTER having a couple of kids. Where are the morals? I’m confused.
Bottom line, most rappers have no morals, little education, and even less respect for others. But if you can come up with a catchy slogan and have someone put it over a nice beat, you’re automatically a millionaire! Maybe I’m in the wrong business…

I dated a 30 year old guy who had a Benz and about 4 other cars, lived at home with Mom and no GED! When I met him, I didn’t know all of that and no he seemed quite intelligent and we had a long distance relationship. Basically, this rap music has really messed these guys up. How many other rappers are MARRIED and only seen with one woman!? I have no clue where our black youth are headed, but it’s not in the right direction. Of course, I cannot make a blanket statement for all young black males, but there are far too many walking around without a care for themselves or others. I grew up in the projects in downtown Decatur, but my parents were not going to let me end up robbing and stealing to make a living. When I hear some of the lyrics written by this human and others in his camp (Wacka), I cannot believe their stuff gets played. It is sad times for our race right now.
