Check out Gucci Mane’s icy new tatt
It looks like rapper Gucci Mane, who was recently ordered by a judge to spend time in a psychiatric hospital, is celebrating his release with some chilly new body art.
YBF and That Grape Juice have posted this photo of Gucci’s latest addition, an ice cream cone with his trademark saying, “Brrr!” encircling the item. (It’s actually “Burr!” Oh well.)
Perfect timing, too, since Atlanta remains in the grips of this ice and snow.
Known in legal circles as Radric Davis, the rapper was ordered recently by Fulton County Superior Court Judge John Goger to the hospital. Gucci’s attorney had filed a “special plea of mental incompetency” on behalf of his client, who has battled drug problems in the past. Gucci was ordered to
Anchor Hospital, a 111-bed psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment facility near the airport. Records show he has been in the Fulton County Jail at least five times since 2005 on drug, aggravated assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges.
The new ice cream tattoo has made Gucci a local trending topic on Twitter, but the reviews don’t seem great.

4extra – you said a mouthful! I am tired of these rappers(supposedly past dope dealers) walking around here riding Bentleys and Benzes like that’s big. Uneducated meaning some of them don’t even have their GED’s and our kids are looking up to them. Most of those rap songs are lies and guess what, even grown men haven’t figured it out. But you are absolutely right and all black men need to be reminded that HIP HOP IS ENTERTAINMENT NOT A LIFE STYLE.

@StopFrontn You say grown men haven’t figured it out. Actually grown and YOUNG women haven’t figured it out. When women stop flockin to the riff-raff and stop trying to be in the back in the club and wait outside the club in the rain trying to get into VIP trying to hang with these guys, maybe some things will changes. As long as some of the women REFUSE to say you need to have your shirt in your pairs, be clean cut and dress appropriately when we go out, you’ll continue to get the same ol, same ol.

Gucci– What are you doing? Surely Gucci has been paying for managers over the years. Those managers should have stepped up and stopped this. Maybe we don’t know the full story. Somebody had to get the attorney to file the papers to have him committed. Maybe it was the ones who really cared for him, but it appears that our boy Gucci is not mentally stable. I also want to add something to what I said earlier (FURIOUS STYLES ….GOOD POINT)
The hip hop culture is so prevalent in ATLANTA that MANY (and I do mean many) sistas in ATL will NOT even talk to you unless you are in the hip hop “world”, (baggy pants, backwards hat bill, fake gold, nice car rented leased or borrowed, brag that you are in the industry, mean mug and acted gansta, and so forth) I’m not just referring to the sistas in the nightclub scene either because the night club scene in Atlanta is a joke for real. Im serious…they act like they do not have anything to say to you unless you are in a rap video. (but the real question is …what are these sistas bringing to the table besides being average looking, slightly and /or extremely overweight and wearing a weave because you bald ?)
Its so bad I am quietly thinking about moving to Los Angeles because they got some real women (BLACK WHITE LATINA , ASIAN and others..)

Did you really just use TI and morals in the same sentence? He sold drugs as a teen. He’s currently in jail for drug possession because he violated probation stemming from a conviction for buying automatic weapons. He married his girlfriend AFTER having a couple of kids. Where are the morals? I’m confused.
Bottom line, most rappers have no morals, little education, and even less respect for others. But if you can come up with a catchy slogan and have someone put it over a nice beat, you’re automatically a millionaire! Maybe I’m in the wrong business…

@Furious Styles @4extra – I agree wholeheartedly with you. Women are deceived by baggy pants, a nice car, gold and money. I dated a 30 year old guy who had a Benz and about 4 other cars, lived at home with Mom and no GED! When I met him, I didn’t know all of that and no he seemed quite intelligent and we had a long distance relationship. Basically, this rap music has really messed these guys up. They’d rather have a nice car and Rocca Wear than a house. Our black men are really messed up, they don’t know who they are. And to answer your question, these women are not bringing anything to the table, they thinking they are about to come up! I guess I need to move to California too, 4extra. lol

@ Tiffani Jones, you are so right about that! They glorified him, talked about how intelligent he is and kissed his butt, but now they’re laughing at him. Frank Ski and his whole crew make me sick, they are too old for their antics. Constantly they talk about these rappers like they are gods and present them to our kids as leaders of the new world. Gucci, Lil Wayne, T.I. and the rest of them are dealing with some mental/emotionally issues. There’s no questioning this because who in their right mind goes in and out of jail? Not to mention all of the other profoundly ignorant things they say and do!
This is not a racial issue, it’s a social issue. We need to be our kids’ hero. Turn off the games, television and radio. I saw a twelve year old with tats stretching from his left arm, across his chest and to the end of his right arm! His idol? Lil Wanye! Seriously?! There is so much wrong with this child’s story, I don’t know where to begin, but we have got to get back to basics. Parents more interested in being their child’s friend than guiding them and we live in a society where EVERYTHING is acceptable.

AND, adding to what Furious Styles stated, it’s not only the boys (can’t call them men), these girls (same thing) need to get their mess together. Anytime you have a girl (she was about 14) walking around in Arbor Place Mall in the middle of winter with a half shirt on, belly all out, low, low cut jeans and breast pushed up and out, with everything on display, you know we have problems. Low self esteem = girls doing anything for attention. Stop watching the videos and stop trying to look like what these boys are playing with and disrespecting in the videos.

I truly believe that TI… IS different! His lyrics of “not happy with ourselves cause were piss poor morally” pretty much summed up black culture perfectly. How many other rappers are MARRIED and only seen with one woman!? I can see why he would buy silencers, and as a white person, i would of done the SAME DAMN THING if someone was threatening my family and my best friend had just gotten shot! And then him going out of the way to help the young suicidal man not jump off a bridge in Atlanta…
TI is about as good a role model as black culture has at the moment. Maybe thats partially because of the Jews who control black music and TV, like Louis Farakhan claims.. but its also the fault of your own radio stations, who blare low IQ stupidity into the homes of millions.
I used to be a cable man in the hood… trust me.. the brightest/ most polite/ most likely to be successful blacks.. are those raised by their grandparents…in a strict house..listening to Gospel music in the background! It was a shame to be in a spot like Jonesboro South apts, and see a young boy not allowed out of the house, but i bet that little kid went to college, while the other 95% around him turned into future stickup kids with no future.
In black culture.. its really Gospel VS Rap. The decent blacks vs the straight morons. Its such a shame that liberals / jews make alot more money off of the rap… so of course.. whats going to get promoted more!?? They dont care about the “black community”. If they did, they would see how important installing morals/ religion is in black communities. And how lost the blacks seem to be without it.

How many rap artist, football players have been known to go to jail, on murder chargers, drug chargers rap music can some be charged for the black community.Every since the beginnings of slavery blacks have been made to feel less than human. Rap artists are primarily black and poor. This accounts for the high volume of violence that is heard in many rap songs today. however Rap music can not be blamed totally for the right or wrong decisions made by people. It is a medium by which people are educated and entertained;;Look at the community what do they teach, its ok to be promiscuous and have sex with anyone, look at the videos. That’s why aids is running rapid in the black community; are we teaching education .. Look at the violence look at bobby Tillman no respect for life; I have notice in most of the situations with the kids, you never see the father.. where is the black father in the household…if you stop buying the music and stop allowing your child to listen to it, this type of violence should cease… how are any of the people that look up to these rappers and athletics what is going on in the black community.. educated your child…

Why are you all surprised? He has shown his ignorance before, so this is just the icing on the top, no pun intended. I have no clue where our black youth are headed, but it’s not in the right direction. Of course, I cannot make a blanket statement for all young black males, but there are far too many walking around without a care for themselves or others. I grew up in the projects in downtown Decatur, but my parents were not going to let me end up robbing and stealing to make a living. When I hear some of the lyrics written by this human and others in his camp (Wacka), I cannot believe their stuff gets played. It is sad times for our race right now.
