Check out Gucci Mane’s icy new tatt
It looks like rapper Gucci Mane, who was recently ordered by a judge to spend time in a psychiatric hospital, is celebrating his release with some chilly new body art.
YBF and That Grape Juice have posted this photo of Gucci’s latest addition, an ice cream cone with his trademark saying, “Brrr!” encircling the item. (It’s actually “Burr!” Oh well.)
Perfect timing, too, since Atlanta remains in the grips of this ice and snow.
Known in legal circles as Radric Davis, the rapper was ordered recently by Fulton County Superior Court Judge John Goger to the hospital. Gucci’s attorney had filed a “special plea of mental incompetency” on behalf of his client, who has battled drug problems in the past. Gucci was ordered to
Anchor Hospital, a 111-bed psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment facility near the airport. Records show he has been in the Fulton County Jail at least five times since 2005 on drug, aggravated assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges.
The new ice cream tattoo has made Gucci a local trending topic on Twitter, but the reviews don’t seem great.

To the “hip-hop” crowd,this is WONDERFUL!! To me, I think the ice-cream
represents the thug love going on in prisons. He must be the “delivery” guy. Hip-hop deteriorates everyday. So does Black society everytime guys like this make so much money.

This is kind of sad….I mean, to each his own, but “Gucci Mane” obviously has some mental illness going on. Look at his eyes in the picture, (to me) they look very sad. For the record …his psych evaluation was recommened by his atty. This is to make appear as if he was ” mentally unstable and didnt really know what he was doing ” and is pre sentence investigation will consider probation more strongly if you appear to have mental disorders.
His atty made him do that for that very reason. Trust me, the judge has already said that prison was “imminent” so he didnt have a choice. Listen, what bothers me the most is the fact that everyone keeps worshipping entertainers like this guy. I happen to like his music but it would be a mistake to considers his actions as an insult because I am quite sure 99% of you do not even know him personally.
So what if he screws up he really doesnt even have to impress anyone or have to answer to anyone.
HIP HOP is PURELY ENTERTAINMENT NOT A LIFESTYLE. Many rappers lived in the suburbs and hung out in the ghetto. (Ice cube is an example). Most were small time dope dealers and exagerate what they did on the street (Plies) Many even lied about being in prison (Akon was a small time car thief and claimed to have ran a large multi state car theft ring which was a LIE) ….As a matter of fact Rick Ross was a corrections officer for the state of Florida before he became a rapper.
50 cent brags about being shot 9 X (what is so cute about being a target? When you get shot in the dope game it is because you either beat someone out of some money or you got shot trying to rob someone)

I find it TOTALLY appalling that rappers think it is a “badge of honor ” to say they have been incarcerated. 60% of the inmate population were severally mentally ill,
85% were sex offenders and almost 95% of the victims involved in their sex case were CHILDREN UNDER 13 YRS OLD.
And as you could imagine 70% of the population were homothugs. (act hard when you are with your homies and had a boyfriend at night .)
I think it is ok to allow your children to listen to these songs (Totally.. )
But when your child wants to grow up to “be like that rapper” thats when you failed as a parent.

Your take on someone not being a “Black Man” because they stated that the world isn’t against you is quite ignorant. I am a Black Man the grew up in the James E Scott Projects of Liberty City (Miami). I and my black male friends have stated on many occasions that the world is against black males that are against themselves, without saying the “The World Isn’t Against Us.” I despise rap music and a lot of the fake R&B that we hear on radio stations today. There is a lack of creativity when so-called musicians have to constantly speak on sex, drugs, money and guns. The same trash has been restated since I was in elementary school back in 1984. Enough is enough, music is powerful. The words that kids and some men that lack self-esteem hear, does contribute to their ignorance; which in turn leads them to death or incarceration.
Gucci Mane is another example of a Black Man lost that has been given many opportunities to rid himself of the ignorant leaches around, but chose to not to do so.
When we all stop accepting this ignorance, some of them my grow the hell up and act as mature adults should.

Does not matter what color he is- if he was white he’d be just as stupid. I don’t think one is really passing judgement; everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. Frankly this guy does not pay a single one of my bills, so I could care less, but seeing as how this is blasted on most blog sites, papers, TMZ, MediaTakeOut, etc, anyone is entitled to offer an opinion. He clearly needs help and what better way to reach out. He did it for attention and so be it; he has to live with it. And yes, funny how V-103 hosted a “Get out of Jail” party for this guy, and today thye were talking about him.
