The Aurora Theatre on the Lawrenceville town square is open for business tonight, but knows theaters elsewhere have had to cancel performances due to the ongoing ice.
So, if you have a theater ticket to ANY theater that has canceled tonight, come on up to the Aurora and they will seat you for free.
The Aurora’s new show is the comedy “Sirens,” by Deborah Zoe Laufer. If you’re going you can make a night of it. All the restaurants on the Lawrenceville Square are open, and FREE PARKING is available in the parking deck that connects to the theater.
We’d say “break a leg!” but given the slick conditions we’ll just wish everyone a great show.

This place would be great for live music performances. From what I know, those who run this theatre do not want it?????? You could fill that place three nights a week with local and National “artists” who can play….you can’t fill it once a month doing plays….attitudes like this stifle the growth opps for downtown L-ville.
