Regis Philbin gets racy with Nicki Minaj

Morning show host Regis Philbin and his cohort Kelly Ripa welcomed hip hop star Nicki Minaj on Monday, when the show was broadcasting from Las Vegas.
Regis is apparently a fan of Nicki’s. Maybe a little too eager a fan.
“I love the way you dress,” he told the entertainer. And then for some reason he made contact with her backside, as Kelly shrieked, “Regis!”
Someone asked Nicki about the encounter on Twitter.
“Lol. I was in shock!” was her response.
Also during her time with Regis and Kelly, when they were all discussing Lil Wayne, Regis cracked a joke suitable for a Viagra ad.
Like we said. Ewww.

I think Nicki Minaj has positioned herself well as a “NON LIKE NO OTHER” artist in the game! My daughter loves her music and what I hear on ’safe’ radio play – not bad!! I dont like that someone like Reg would be so inclined to touch any woman in an inappropriate manner.
There are do’s and donts’ and REgis crossed that line.
Also, I would not even tune in if Kelly were not present. She brings a young, fresh appeal. That’s why someone like Nicki Minaj is a guest!

Is it okay because he is a dirty old man, he flirts with many of the young women that appear on his show (especially those with implants such as Kim. K) but this is the first time I have seen him touch a female’s rear on air. If it were a young, male, TV host would it be outrage then? It reminds me when Issac grabbed ScarJo’s chest on the red carpet. I do not care if the TV host is old, young, gay or straight; no man has the right to grab a woman, especially without her permission. It is just such a lack of respect for women in this society, it saddens me. David Letterman looks at the dancer’s rears that appear with the live singers on his show all the time but he never grabs at them on air. If the hosts want to stare they do all the time but grabbing at the women is crossing the line.

Im a fan of Regis but this was over the line. I also find it funny the lack of outrage about this in the media. I watched as Kanye West was vilified by everyone under the sun including the President as he should have been for what he did. Yet Regis Philbin touches this woman’s butt and says very inappropriate things and not a peep from anyone. But to bring up this double standard and your get accused of playing the race card. Wrong is wrong. ABC at minimum needs to have him apologize for his actions
