T.I. axed by AXE

The rapper T.I. has been canned by the AXE deodorant company, following his recent legal woes.

Known to the courthouse crowd as Clifford Harris, the entertainer is heading back to prison following an arrest on a drug charge while on probation for a weapons charge.

AXE told the TMZ site simply, “We will no longer feature T.I. in our promotional campaign.”

He had signed with AXE earlier this year, but has been removed already from their web site.

In brighter news, of course, T.I. is credited with having talked a depressed young man off a ledge. The two reunited during a V-103 radio visit, during which T.I. waxed prophetic.

“All of the things we go through in life, they just prepare us for the next battle,” said the rapper and film star, who is headed back to prison soon to serve 11 more months.

TBP,

Let me stop arguing with you. You’re just typing for the sake of typing. I’m a black man and I speak on issues adversely effecting BLACK PEOPLE. I’m an “excessively race-conscious idiot” because I care about MY people and the number of them locked behind bars? Do me a favor and press the Ctrl, Alt and Delete button on your PC and go back to your coloring book assignment in the special ed class you’re enrolled in.

Jay…glad I could save you a few keystokes.

TBP’s comments aren’t even worth responding to. The fact that he believes 11 months of T.I. not feeling a cool breeze, seeing a Georgia sunset or sunrise, hearing his child’s laughter, listening to the birds sing, missing holidays with his loved ones, not being able to make love to his wife, not being able to make a difference, and having the very essence of what made T.I successful..his voice placed on MUTE is EASY…shows his true ignorance. Nuff said….Kapoonka out!!!!

I think that TI got a pretty good deal. If that had been a person not in the public eye and didn’t have the money TI has, he would have recieved a harder sentence. So do your 11 months and be glad that the system works for you and all celebrity.

Who is TI? Oh, that guy. Sorry, I don’t listen to rap. I see so many people looking up to him as a role model. Thank God that I am here for my children to show them a real example of a Godly man. I won’t pass judgement on him personally, but the culture he represents is destroying our youth. Gone are the values of the old days with all of the lessons that were handed down by the old folks. Wake up young people. Heaven and hell is real and the choice we make here now determines where you will spend ALL of you time once you leave this life. God is the only way…. seek Him. Just try it… pray. He will answer you.

I wonder what does Andrew Young think now? Or all of those kids that he visited— telling them to stay off drugs. Wow. I think that father up in Gwinnett (i believe) was on to something when he complained to school officials that T.I. was speaking at the school on why drugs are bad. He probably saw right through T.I’s shat.

Well I dont feel sorry for TI…..you make the same mistakes over and over that only you can blame yourself for. You have worked so hard to get where you are today and you are just throwing it away. What example are you setting for YOUR children. Yes we all make mistakes but at what point do we learn from them. Yes, Paris Hilton and others have gotten caught with drugs but the difference is Paris is WHITE… TI is BLACK…and I really hate to suggest black/white…but it is what it is.

MaG you are one of the supporters of wrongdoing and the reason why the balance in treatment between stars and others are bad. How do you promote bad things. Keep your head up..I hope you are not black because you make every human look bad. This idiot screwed up twice and was slapped on the wrist twice. You are either a groupie or a dummy who promotes breaking the law. How could you try and defend someone like that..Buddy don’t even care about you and you try to support his wrongdoing..let me guess..you are a high school drop out..No media made him look bad he did because there wasn’t anything that was false the media put out..Ohh God why do people like MaG exist in this world..stupidity is a drug

Why are stupid people on here talking about Keep your head up like they are his friends..lol..this is too funny..I still listen to his music but this idiot broke the law twice and didn’t get much..probably would buy less now..If you just read some of the comments those dummies try to make seem like he didnt know whathe was doing. Be for real..its [people like them that should not be allowed to even think for a dog. They are the negative ones and those who are trying to make the law seem wrong while trying to support someone they listen to music.. I wonder if he wasn’t a star would they be all on that man d**k. The support comments show how ignorant some are instead of facing the truth..I would have gave him more time and for those who want to know yea I am black and young..right is right and wrong is wrong..sorry Im not aa groupie like most who try and support this dummy..I am wondering How is this boi a victim? Keep yo head up…lol..man its sad how some blacks make the rest of us look

I am really concerned that everyone is so forgiving of a convicted felon that has been given not one but several opportunities to redeem himself. If this was any “Joe Blow” off the street would you guys be so forgiving? Yes we all make mistakes and sometimes we have to fall down to get back up. T.I for all your good deeds your bad ones truly out weigh them. What message are you sending to the youths who look up to you? You know what is right so why do you keep associating yourself around these individuals who seem to not care that you are the one suffering behind all the mishaps. Take sometime and and humble yourself and stop trying to be the “King” but be a servant so that you will appreciate all that you have been given.

T.I. was very well spoken at his trial. He said he was sorry. He will work on his raps and come out of jail stronger than ever. Jesus said “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

So he goes to jail for 11 months. It will be almost impossible for TI to stay clean, if plans to continue his career as a rapper. In the rap industry, the more hood you are, the more $$ you make. So associating with ex cons, drugs, guns and other illegal activities are part of T.I.’s package. He will eventually find himself in trouble again, and in court again and then again in jail.

Hey, money is an amplifier…it only amplifies who you really are. A thug with no money, beats people up and smokes a little nickel bag of weed. But a thug with money, buys guys and snorts coke. T.I. was a thug before he had money. Only thing changed is that he has money now. He has to change his character before anyone can see the changes in him. Money can’t buy you character, class, or freedom…unless you’re a CEO or work on Wall Street — yep, they’re thugs, too.

I think T.I should have gotten the 6 years. I like his music but I am so sick and tired of people with money getting away with just a slap on the wrist. If it was the average working man he would still be in jail from the previous weapons charges. Not only TI but Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, Little Wayne, gov. officials. Its so many more. If I was caught with cocaine, not once but a few times I’d be in jail. It just makes me sick. They do the crime they should do the time the the average person. I want to do something about this like protest but what good would it do.
