Sherry Stringfield, Lou Diamond Phillips and Jamie-Lynn Sigler are here working on a pilot for Lifetime.
Deadline Hollywood said the project is a drama that “centers on police detective Molly Collins (Stringfield), married mother of two on the verge of divorce, who, along with her partner Brooke Kross (Sigler), investigate the city’s most high-profile crimes while navigating their divergent personal lives. Phillips will play their boss, a police lieutenant.”
Does that sound a bit like TNT’s popular new cop drama “Rizzoli & Isles,” starring Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander, to you? That show, by the way, has been renewed for another season.
Anyway, Stringfield, Phillips, Sigler, along with actor-director-producer Tim Matheson, had dinner at Pricci Friday night. Matheson has been involved with numerous Lifetime projects. It’s not clear if he’s involved with this as-yet unnamed pilot. In any case, the quartet was nice enough to pose for this photo with Pricci servers Belinda Goletski and Roderick Stuart during their visit.
In filming news, “The Lost Valentine,” which is the Hallmark Channel movie starring Betty White and Jennifer Love Hewitt, is shooting here this week. The crew is on Howell Mill today, so if you’re over that way and wonder what’s up with all the cameras … mystery solved. And the new Lucy Liu romantic miniseries called “Marry Me” is filming at the High Museum of Art today.
