Have dinner with Bert Weiss for a cause

Q100’s Bert Weiss is a busy guy even when he turns off the microphone. He and his wife, Stacey, are active with their charity, Bert’s Big Adventure, which provides fun getaways for kids with serious medical issues and their families.

The Weisses take a group to Disney World every year – all expenses paid. They also coordinate a group of local volunteers who spend time with children in area hospitals. It gives the kids a fun visit to look forward to, and spells the parents who can take a short break during that special time.

This Friday, you can join Bert and Stacey for a delicious dinner at Dogwood to help fund the charity’s work. Proceeds from the five-course wine dinner by Chef Shane Touhy will benefit Bert’s Big Adventure, a non-profit organization.  The event starts at 7 p.m. It is $125 per person and seating is limited. Call 404-835-1410 for reservations.

Nice work for charity, I must say. Kudos. Will Bert need a booster seat at dinner? ( Seriously, this is a good thing he and Stacey do).

Too much exposure?

This sounds more like what you get for losing a contest. Between Bert’s narcissistic ramblings and his wife’s walks outside for a smoke, who could enjoy this any more than non-anesthesized root canal?

Ladies and gentlemen. This is for a charity organization. Please hold onto your negative comments. This is not the place for that kind of thing….I bet your comments would not be the same if this organization helped out your children.

AJC – This is a great of example of why I don’t look at your site very often.

… Sure says at a lot about someone who has to post such negativity regarding a person’s charity event because they “hate” someone they don’t even know. Especially one that benefits children with serious medical illnesses. Great charity, will donate and pray for these kids and their families.

While I appreciate the work for charity I’d rather donate money than be forced to endure any time with Bert. Talk about cruel and unusual punishment.

You people and your negative comments truly amaze me. Bert and Stacey Weiss have a great charity, and do wonderful things for these children and their families. If you don’t want to go DON’T. If you don’t want to donate any money DON’T, but keep your negative thoughts to yourself. Keep up the good work Bert and Stacey.
