T.I. and Tiny to wed in Miami?
Rumors have been swirling about the upcoming nuptials of Clifford “T.I.” Harris and Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, and the prevailing chatter indicates the blessed event is imminent.
A number of Web sites including this one, YBF, are reporting that the two will tie the knot this coming weekend in Miami.
In fact, YBF is running a photo of what appears to be the couple’s wedding invitation, tightly cropped to remove details such as the location. The report says the two are in Hawaii right now for a pre-wedding family trip, and will be returning to Atlanta this week before heading down to Miami.
It wouldn’t shock us if they plan some sort of post-wedding, post-honeymoon bash here, perhaps at Opera? Earlier this year, the Midtown hot spot is where they made their first appearance together following T.I.’s stint in prison on a weapons charge.

First, staying relevant, Ti and Tiny’s upcoming wedding was announced weeks ago . Atlanta Djs have had their invitations for weeks to the event. Just no one knows when or where.
Secondly, there is nothing wrong with keeping up with celebrity news – AJC is announcing this – just as they announced Carrie Underwood’s marriage here in Georgia or just like mentioning Ryan Seacrest’s relationship with Julian Hough. No one has forgotten the plight of the economy, or their own woes – it is ok to read about other things for a change – whether they be controversial or just news.

BIg Jim I have read your posts- and others that like them – you just might have a point on some things – others like Rap music being the reason Black men are in jail – is BS-its called choices – we all have them – if a black man is incarcerated it is because of his own demise – and if he uses the reason of rap music making him do it – i say he also needs a psychiatrist’s chair because that is nonsense – three things a person can’t say when caught in the wrong – the devil made me do it – i was drunk- i heard it in song lyrics (rock, rap, country or whatever!) – a person does what they want to do because they wanted to do it – plain and simple.
Just like BILL COSBY – you are in the WRONG forum – Bill was preaching to the choir – the people that actually came to see him and hear him speak – were people who were well aware of the plight of the black community – in this case you are on an ENTERTAINENT blog – so your ranting and raving just might fall on deaf ears. There are several people who are aware of what is going on in our community – but there is nothing wrong with commenting on a articles TOPIC – which is the wedding of Ti and Tiny. Some of the things you mentioned and the all caps caused you to lose validity. When you call names and degrade – you lose your audience – and your subject matter is looked upon as you being an angry person, who is just using this opportunity to vent.
The reason no one listens is the context of what you are saying. Even a child will turn a deaf ear if he or she is yelled at or put down. And your statistics are way off – there are several intelligent black people who have an inkling to listen to rap music. I, in fact, am a hard working person who also takes the time weekly to volunteer, and because of my monitoring my child’s music – i have heard some raps songs – some actually have a good message – some are corny but catchy – others are just too hard – but the bottom line is – your choice – you make it – if you listen you listen if you don’t you don’t. Also, people BLACK AND WHITE are obsessed with the business of celebrities and entertainers. No entertainer is worthy of being a role model – because that starts at home – and although you made valid points – within those points – you chose to talk at instead of to.
In a different setting – Yes what you say would be deemable as appropriate and it might have worked here if you had insisted on curbing your anger and remembering just cause you feel the way that you do others may not – just as you have the right to express yourself without condemnation – so do others.
By the way I don’t care to use Bill Cosby as the truth – yes, he had great points, but he made himself a mute point with me when there was a need to have have a paternity test to prove that a child by a woman who is NOT Camille – was not his. We can’t throw stones when a brick can be thrown back at us. This is another thing that plagues our society – promiscuity.
Celebrities are celebrities – and yes their money may make them look better or all the other things you said – but with you stating them in the manner you did – it just made you seem angry that they had the money to do these things, and before you think anything negatively of me – I am on my 9 to 5 and I don’t wait on a hand out from anyone – cancer and all!!
