Dwight Howard makes a splash
It’s been a long, hot week at Six Flags White Water.
First, there was a fire that caused the park to close for a couple of days.
Then NBA star Dwight Howard showed up.
Now that you’re getting ready for the weekend, how about some sizzling photos?
The Atlanta native has his annual basketball camp for kids here and took time out of the off-season to cool off at the Cobb County water park.
We hear he loved a towering slide called “The Cliffhanger,” took a relaxing “river” raft tour and visited the new “Wiggles World” section of the park. And he was a good enough sport to let the Six Flags publicity people photograph him doing it!
Thanks, by the way to our Twitter buddy who hypothesized that “Howard’s hotness caused the fire.” A valid theory, but his visit and the storage unit blaze happened on different days.

Mr. Howard is looking very happy, apparently not worried that his consultant, Jason Samples, ran over a police officer in Swainsboro, Georgia on July 5th, crushing both her legs. Oh, and Mr. Samples was DUI, having collapsed at the wheel of his vehicle just moments before he accelerated and ran over the officer. Money can take worries right out of one’s mind, eh?

@ shout-to-the-world, hope the police office recovers fully, but what does that have to do with Dwight Howard. Dwight wasn’t driving…a consultant (if that’s true) was. So why try to say something negative about Dwight? Get a life. Your post was soooooooooo NOT NEEDED!

@shout-to-the-world, the TRASHERS hockey player was drunk driving, KILLED HIS FRIEND, didn’t speand a day in jail and was WELCOMED BACK TO THE TEAM WITH OPEN ARMS…now leave Dwight Howard ALONE!!!

Dwight Howard is from Swainsboro, Ga living in Atlanta. It’s good to see he’s one of the very few NBA players that don’t mind hanging out with us regular folks.

Its funny how every time someone becomes a celebrity people start bragging that the celebrity is from there hometown instead of the hometown he is really from. Dwight Howard is not from Swainsboro. Seriously no centers worth much anymore no point guard three all stars , Hawks are gonna blow them out big time you watch. Anyone remember the Lakers when they had Payton Kobe Fox Malone and Shaq and they said oh give them the ring, Then a Pistons team came from nowhere to kill them in the finals and ended up in Shaq being dealt to the Heat and Malone retiring, King James will be begging for the fourth year of his to opt out lol

Why are you blaming Dwight Howard for his consultant’s actions? Who will you blame for Rothleisberg’s and the Hockey player who killed his teammate’s actions. Certainly neither one of them have paid for anything that they’ve done. OTH, Dwight hasn’t done anything, he’s just hanging out in his hometown. You must be an idiot. For now just concentrate on why the hockey player never spent a day in jail when he killed a man while driving drunk. I can’t believe his family would settle for money over life. I hope that that’s not the case.
