NeNe Leakes has a new nose and has been appearing in a play. The reviews – of the nose – aren’t great.
“I think @NeNeLeakes might have just committed a Jennifer Grey,” a Twitter post from a user named Heidi Mara reads.
“I like your new nose,” reads a tweet from someone calling him or herself Return of Cirque. “Where did you buy it?”
Those are the nicer comments.
RadarOnline.com says the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member is on nose job #3 and has other work done.
“Her friends and family are worried that she will get addicted to plastic surgery, but sadly the producers of the show are not discouraging because they think it adds some drama for the fans,” the site says, quoting unnamed sources.
Leakes posted this photo of herself on Twitter
Leakes, a frequent tweeter who is usually pretty candid about what’s going on, isn’t responding to the critics. Instead she’s been talking about her recent trip to New York, where she’s playing “Pinky Bell” in a show called “Loving Him is Killing Me.”
Her new look is apparent in recent a photo she posted from backstage, and in a post she seems to be remaining positive.
“New York state of mind!” she wrote. “Go NeNe go NeNe! Tryin’ to pump myself up y’all.”

Not a fan of the show, or of her, but it upsets me when black women cannot embrace what makes them beautiful and strike out to emulate white women’s features in order to look “better”. Certainly she was just fine the way she was.
Let’s not forget that beauty starts on the inside.

As for the person talking about how hot she is……I’m sure you have lots of Sylvester’s Greatest Hits on 8 track lying around the house. Put one on and play it loud until the sickness subsides. I bet Dwight was right there telling her she looks “FIERCE” and she bought it. You should have asked one of your GIRL friends instead of your GAY friend how it really looks. Oh I forgot she don’t get alone with women because she feels threatened around them and I guess that is why Dwight was in the doctor’s office once again bouncing her breasts like basketball. Greg haven’t said anything and a real man would have checked Dwight for touching his wife’s breast like that. Whew! After all that venting, I am glad that I can use the anonymity of this blog to reveal what has always eaten away at me for as long as I can remember: my views were taught by my family and reinforced by the people of my surroundings. I do think my comments are not right and baseless. As crazy as this sounds, I was always irked by that famous legend about the size of Black men’s packages and I wish I had have been born heavily endowed. I do admit that we have been bombarded with images of blonde bombshell women in our culture, but, I have always been open to Black women – they have just never been open to me.

Plastic surgery and other cosmetic “work” on the outside is a tell-tale sign of insecurity and emptiness on the inside. She needs to quit while she’s ahead and concentrate on work that needs to be done on the “inside.”

Who cares what you think? If NeNe likes it than its fine. She did it for herself not for you. Its okay when white celebrities have all that plastic surgery (i.e. Pamela Anderson), but when some one of color does it, they have to be insulted. Get a life and stop hating.

And… is she lighter? or is that just the pic? I hope she’s not going the Michael Jackson route with all the surgeries and skin lightening. I know she probably has some lingering esteem issues (like MJ) because of her upbringing and father and being raised by relatives. I htink anytime you have multiple surgeries (3) that speaks to thinking you know what you want, then still not being happy, and then when you keep having it done, it’s more in your head – you’re just never going to be happy with the way you look – she needs to get over that. Maybe some counseling instead of surgery.

Black people get plastic surgery to look like white people.
Black mens also seems to have a predilection to white blonde women. Therefore, the black womens want to look more like the blonde white womens. It ain’t the other way around people.

Whatever nose God gave you KEEP IT!!!! Why do some of us try so hard to be someone we’re not? Having a bunch of plastic surgery doesn’t change who you are on the inside. Be grateful for the nose or whatever body part you were born with as long as it’s working properly -BE GRATEFUL!!

I happen to think Ne Ne looks beautiful. She also looks as if she lost weight,is wearing a bra or had a reduction and has a hair piece on. If one doesn’t feel good about something, why not change? Although in her circumstance, hopefully she didn’t break the bank. I also hope she has gotten her son help too.

There was nothing wrong with the nose you had,why, when black folks get money they miss with their beauty. Some black women are beautiful with some makeup and some don’t need makeup.
