NeNe Leakes has a new nose and has been appearing in a play. The reviews – of the nose – aren’t great.
“I think @NeNeLeakes might have just committed a Jennifer Grey,” a Twitter post from a user named Heidi Mara reads.
“I like your new nose,” reads a tweet from someone calling him or herself Return of Cirque. “Where did you buy it?”
Those are the nicer comments.
RadarOnline.com says the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member is on nose job #3 and has other work done.
“Her friends and family are worried that she will get addicted to plastic surgery, but sadly the producers of the show are not discouraging because they think it adds some drama for the fans,” the site says, quoting unnamed sources.
Leakes posted this photo of herself on Twitter
Leakes, a frequent tweeter who is usually pretty candid about what’s going on, isn’t responding to the critics. Instead she’s been talking about her recent trip to New York, where she’s playing “Pinky Bell” in a show called “Loving Him is Killing Me.”
Her new look is apparent in recent a photo she posted from backstage, and in a post she seems to be remaining positive.
“New York state of mind!” she wrote. “Go NeNe go NeNe! Tryin’ to pump myself up y’all.”

It is sad that Black people in particular, keep allowing the AJC to open a comment section and post articles that only lead to derogatory statments from others about us. Why have they never opened anything up about that buffoon Sarah Palin, her daughter Bristol’s baby daddy, or the baby’s daddy himself? It is asinine to even comment on someone’s new nose,when oil is spilling in the gulf, unemployment is through the roof, and let us not even discuss crime statistics. I have had enough of the AJC fanning racist, crude segments on its on-line edition for all the world to read. I ended my subscription years ago. Renia: You have a very valid point and I wish I would have read you comment prior to writing my own. We should be focusing on topics that bring attention to the massive homelessness, unemployment, education and overall malaise that the city is going through, but the AJC does not throw that out there for us. The Black newspapers we do have here, have that old JET mentality also, they don’t want to upset “massa” by commenting indebt on these issues. Oh they touch them on the surface, but they skate right on along as long as they can lock their doors and have their functions. But you have to admit, this woman has issues and she’s sharing them with a lot of fake, superficial women here.

I saw her in person at the HRC dinner here in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago and she looked fantastic. She’s slimmed down and it looks like she had a breast lift as well. More power to her. She is doing what it takes to be a STAR. If the haters don’t like it then I hate it for you.

My Mom always told me, ‘If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything’. But I will comment on the situation in general. Being insecure or not feeling a particular amount of self-worth is normal to an extent. We have all experienced it at some time in our lives. This is why we hate that we can’t lose weight, can’t afford new things that we don’t NEED, or because that certain girl/guy that we’re ‘feelin’ isn’t feelin us. But when we cross that line and start throwing money at quick fixes in the attempt to be ‘happier’ with ourselves, this is the beginning of a behavior pattern that is possibly detrimental to ourselves, our relationships, and so on. When you hear someone say that money doesn’t buy you happiness, it is so true. We should all think of money as a tool to pacify. That is it! It does make life easier, but not BETTER! FAMILY + FRIENDS + EXPERIENCES = LIFE
People that are seeking plastic surgery for these superficial reasons should always have some ongoing psychological treatment.

This whole “discussion” is quite comical to me! I agree with Renia. I’m not sure why there is a misconception that the AJC is a liberal paper. By in large, many of AJC’s blogs are breeding grounds and bouncing boards for a bunch of racists, neanderthals who get orgasmic pleasure by spewing their idiotic, thoughtless, and baseless hatred. It has become quite comical to me when I read comments from all you big, bad “gansta” bloggers who clearly have nothing better to do. LMAO!
But back to NeNe’s nose. I, too, am disappointed that she got the surgery(ies). I don’t know what she was thinking. But let me make one thing clear to all of you…Black People come in all different shades, all different hair textures/colors, some have big noses and some have very slender noses (have y’all looked at Kobe Bryant’s nose lately??). American “Black People” are some of the most racially mixed people on the planet.
So my point is…don’t arrogantly assume that she is trying to have a “white” nose. I think she was trying to reshape her nose in an attempt to look more “acceptable” to the mainstream. Sadly, she missed the mark! Her God-given nose was just fine. Tis’ a shame. I hate to see anyone change themselves and lose themselves at the same time.

well i like nene, i am from sacramento, CA and i tell you what, i always was envy of southern belle women. i really like their style. i even read the atlanta journal on the internet just to see what is going on. i even read the receipes and have really got great compliments on my special occasions meals. everyone says i am the best cook. now getting to the point, i am starting to have a different opinion. but i still like you alls style and i would love to come and visit atlanta one day. i always had this fascination of ATL…..but nene i wish you would not have done that. i work for the state of ca. edd and i wish i could live in one of those big homes down there with all that beautiful land. you all have it good but wow i thought you southern bells were classy. sheree is a mess, then i read deshawn snow’s husband divorced her, then lisa was on crack and used to get beat up by the crying man. kahndi is taking care of aj’s kids, kim is just a mess and dwight got penis implant

@SET whatever you’d change with money, I think it’s important for ethnic folks to keep their appearance intact. Work out, keep your hair done & get your clothes tailored but as a community I think it’s important to maintain your ethnic appearance when you reach levels of success b/c it’s important for the people who look like you to be represented. That’s my general statement. Now personally it just goes to show that her self assured attitude was a facade and that she’s a big mean, loud, low self esteem female who likes to put others down to feel better.
