NeNe Leakes has a new nose and has been appearing in a play. The reviews – of the nose – aren’t great.
“I think @NeNeLeakes might have just committed a Jennifer Grey,” a Twitter post from a user named Heidi Mara reads.
“I like your new nose,” reads a tweet from someone calling him or herself Return of Cirque. “Where did you buy it?”
Those are the nicer comments.
RadarOnline.com says the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member is on nose job #3 and has other work done.
“Her friends and family are worried that she will get addicted to plastic surgery, but sadly the producers of the show are not discouraging because they think it adds some drama for the fans,” the site says, quoting unnamed sources.
Leakes posted this photo of herself on Twitter
Leakes, a frequent tweeter who is usually pretty candid about what’s going on, isn’t responding to the critics. Instead she’s been talking about her recent trip to New York, where she’s playing “Pinky Bell” in a show called “Loving Him is Killing Me.”
Her new look is apparent in recent a photo she posted from backstage, and in a post she seems to be remaining positive.
“New York state of mind!” she wrote. “Go NeNe go NeNe! Tryin’ to pump myself up y’all.”

I say do whatever you want if it makes you happy…and you don’t go the MJ route and go overboard. I don’t think it looks all that bad, but she’s lost tons of weight which magnifies the change in her nose IMHO.

This is exact reason why her family is falling apart. Nene’s focus is in the wrong place. Her oldest son just dropped out of college and she goes Gonzo on us. What is the problem? I really feel sorry for her because when all the money and minor fame dimenishes, this poor woman is going to fall apart even worse. How can she pretend to be so confident in her skin, when in reality we can now see that she is very insecure.

NeNe has reached “The Point of No Return” meaning once she became famous she realized her life was not making her happy. So she ditched her husband hooked up with a professional football player, then realized that wasn’t enough. So she begins work on her face starting with the nose, which was not well thought out because now her lips (which we kinda over looked before) appear huge.
The NeNe people related to now no longer is there. The viewers have to get used to this new look with that same raunchy loud voice, which spells (disaster).
People will talk about it for a week then start complaining that they want her off the show. Happens all the time. What would have been smart would have been for her to be a little low key this season so we could wonder what was up, instead she has put it ALL out there and it is NOT interesting.
I clicked this article to see if what I had heard was true & it is.

Saw a couple of weeks ago in elevator at the Marriott Marquis. I said hello to her, she looked at me, like I was a piece of crap! I would not pay 10 cents to see her in any play. She isn’t all that for that type of attitude!! I already started family, friends and whoever will listen DO NOT GO SEE HER!!!!

Sure – plenty of people of all ethnicities have plastic surgery to enhance, change or modify their appearance.
White females want to look more like Barbie. White females don’t say “I want to look more like a black person. Please flatten my nose, make my lips look like an orangutans ass and give me more pigment”.
Black females start first with wanting to look more like white females, then they want to try to look like a Hottentot..
Seen Sammy Sosa lately? A fine baseball player who started off looking like any other Negro, now he is on his way to looking like a white guy.

Please give me blonde hair and while you are at it, fix it so it ain’t so kinky either – you know, the way white peoples hairs look. Tyra has dedicated several shows just to this topic and is also an expert on how to look more white. They call it “hair straightening” and “skin lightening”, but the name of the show that should be in parenthesis is really “How to look more like a white person”.
There ain’t no shows dedicated to how to look more black.

When you can’t see or understand facts and truth in front of your face, calling someone a racist is the best you can do? You have no better armament?
You don’t even know the definition of racist because if you did, you would see that there is nothing racist in my commentary. You will have a tough time indicating anything racist about anything I have said (once you know the definition). It is just a catch all insult that reflects your inability to come to grips with reality , lack of creativity, vocabulary and imagination and has been so overused that the entire word has virtually no meaning anymore. Please come up with some better adjectives.
I did not say Barbie was tan, but if you are compelled to check and report your findings, feel free to do so. You are just making up things that have nothing to do with the dialog in an effort to prove me wrong and are failing miserably.
In NeNe’s case, her thought process was probably along the lines of: I have this Negro looking nose and I would much rather have the nose of a Caucasian. No Caucasian goes to a plastic surgeon and says please make my nose look more like a Negro nose. That would be going in the opposite direction. You can’t apply racism to that in any way, shape or form since that is not the definition of racism.
People do not tan to look more like Negro. People tan to appear more attractive to others. In American culture, pale skinned people are sometimes considered to have health problems and not suitable mating partners. In some cultures pale skinned people are considered more attractive – but not here. People are naturally and physically attracted to other people that appear healthy. This is is part of the biological response inherent to humans. In our culture, a tan can make one appear healthier and more attractive for mating.
People that tan are not trying to appear more like a black person – they are trying to appear more attractive.

Oh NeNe why did you do that. You were so beautiful on the outside just the way you were! Honestly! You bought into the hype and I’m surprised. I thought you were the realest person on the show and I enjoyed watching you for it, old nose and all (and it really was a cute nose). I know you’ve shared with your T.V. viewers that you’ve gone thru some things in your life and that could explain alot about why you did what you did. Oh well. If it makes you fell better as a person on the inside, go for it. Just know… no matter how much you try to “blend” and “fix” the outside, you have to start with the inside first.

Forgot to mention that Mattel did come out with Malibu Barbie in response to the realization that tan people were deemed more attractive than people with no tan (the Hollywood influence).
They have also come out with a Barbie that has a Ken tattoo on her backside. This is also an adjustment by Mattel to make Barbie more appealing to what is acceptable behavior in some parts of our culture – getting your current boyfriends name emblazoned on your butt. I guess so Ken can observe it while he is railing her from behind.

NeNe has gone down a couple notches with me! I don’t like the alien-look….she is entitled to buy whatever she wants but she sure was alot beautiful before. Now since she done that perhaps liposuction is in order then! Might as well….cuz havin’ a slimmer face and big body does not go together right?
