May the blessings of God be upon Paula Deen and Tyler Perry! There are so many wealthy people who are in a position to give, and help others BUT won’t. God has been so good to them, and yet they close their eyes to the widows, fatherless, single mothers, and the homeless. (and so have some churches). God wants to know if in these troubled times if we can love each other the way He told us to. Are there ANY others that are willing to STAND IN THE GAP? Please continue to pray for the less fortunate. God Bless every saint!

Some people say I am crazy for e-mailing you because you are so busy. I am a dreamer and I try to make my dreams and others come true. I went to see all of your play when they came to Greenville, SC. I thought they were funny to told a special message about my
best friend Jesus. On Jan. 2, 2010 @ 6:00 Campfield Baptist Church will be putting on a play for the second time. I saw the first showing and it was funny and told a message about my best friend. Tyler please go see the play. I promise this want be a waste of your time. I am just a school teacher who loves Jesus and wants everyone to be blessed.

I join others in thanking Tyler, Paula and the crew and staff of the House of Payne and Meet the Brown’s for their generosity. Especially at this critical time with record levels of underemployment and unemployment the need for charitable giving is magnified. These gifts exemplfy the best of our community. Many thanks.

sherry…, what’s your point? this article was about his giving to charity, not his plays! have you reached out to the homeless this year? if u have, good for u. if u haven’t, thanks for t. perry. if u don’t like his plays, that’s your perogative. but why are u trying to down a man for helping someone else? did u have anything to say about paula’s shows??? thought not! this is all about t. perry for you, and your dislike for what he does, even though it shouldn’t be affecting you. i bet you have this relationship with all men, u hate them like the plague!!!!

I went to see Tyler Perry’s new stage play Laugh to Keep from Crying. I think I could have wrote that play in 20 minutes. Tyler Perry had to have written that play in one day. I just did not find in heart, meaning behind all the singing. I think most of Tyler Perry’s movies are just words with zero meaning.
I think we just got pulled in – into having more black movies and overlooked the fact that most of Tyler Perry movies are not good -there just loud.

When I was watching the stage play I thought there is zero con. to the audiences.
