I believe you are correct. The rule change was before last season though…”old” clock rules apply inside two minutes of each half.

I have to ask and I am not being a smart a**. I am an college football fan abd watch many games. I have noticed that MANY, MANY times this year, A player will go out of bounds and they will not stop the clock. Ussually this does not happen in the last 2 minutes of the half or game, but it does happen alot. Is there a rules change with this? I was at the Tech game and this happened 4 other times during the game other than the one near the end of the half. It also happened in EVERY single college game I watched this past weekend. What gives? Please pay attention to this. My fear is this is some sort of rule passed to make the games go by faster for the TV people.

I’m a little surprised by some of the constructive dawg comments here – where’s the lunatic fringe?! though i’m sure if you guys beat LSU (or even lose by less than 38-3) there will be more UGA on the GT blog than GT.

The next 4-5 games, bookend SEC road games with FSU and VT in the middle will tell us how good the team really is. The polls should be the least of our concerns.

Maybe a case of very bad UNC offense than great GT defense. If our defense can stop MS State strong run game, then maybe we have a shot at ACC title. Not convinced our DC has it figured out or will figure it out. Hope PJ stays engaged with the defense too.
