the Target store at Atlantic Station carries GT gear, a good bit of it, but I haven’t seen any other Targets with GT gear.

GT needs to send alumni to the northeast georgia schools to become more attached to their teams.
UGA tickets are sometimes raffled for drawings at Stephens County Indian games. I never hear anything at away games such as Habersham, Franklin etc. GT needs to get more statewide with the schools.
Cracker Barrel has equal amounts of GT and UGA merchandise. One of the few.

Don’t worry because when Tech puts the beat down on the UGA dawgs again this year all that huffying, puffying and posturing by the UGA fans and alumni will mellow.

One of the reasons that UGA has a huge fan base is because those that inbreed usually don’t go to far away from their breeding opportunities. Not to mention the fact that a degree from Tech allows graduates to travel throughout the world to get high paying job opportunities whereas the UGA graduate has to stay pretty much close to or in the State of GA to find a job which helps to explain the discrepancy in the fan base. It’s a known fact that a diploma from Tech has more weight in the workplace than a degree from UGA, other than in GA because of the good ‘ol boy network. Having hired graduates from both institutions, it has been my experience that the Tech graduate is better prepared coming in as a new employee.

To All Tech alumni, students and fans….remember to “Let Your Haters Be Your Motivators”……

SAKA has it right – go to Tailgater’s Alley. All you had to do was get back in your car, drive down to exit 13, get off at Peachtree Parkway, make a left and go into the Avenue shopping center. There is one there. Plus, you are supporting a local store vs. a mega-chain.

Also, the Cracker Barrel on I-85 at Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road carries a lot of Tech merchandise. The one by me here in Buford on I-985 does not have any.

I’ve notice more Georgia Tech stuff in Sam’s Club on Clairmont Rd in Atlanta. Bought my family some stuff for the up coming season, etc. I love the sign though.

Who cares about merchandise. Tech has the better coach, better QB, better running backs, better secondary, better linebacking corps, and better depth. UGA is going to be awful this year. Let’s play some football.
