Boston College – Mike Cloud and Matt Ryan too. But it’s nice to have him on the Falcons!
Clemson – Woody Dantzler. Killed us in 2001. Right after we took away a fumble and the refs took it away rom us. Tough loss. On the other hand I liked Danny Ford because the Dawg fans hated him so much!
Duke – Can’t remember his first name but the Ramsey kid that QB’d Duke in 1977 I think.
Florida State – Hands down Charlie Ward 1992.
Maryland – The whole 2001 Terps team. But if Joe Burns stays in bounds, it’s a no brainer anyway.
Miami – I remember this team from the old days too, but we really have handled them for the most part. The 2000 Gator bowl was tough when they hit us in the mouth.
North Carolina – Naaaa…Anytime we play in Chapel Hill it’s like pulling teeth. At one point up until the late 90’s, we hadn’t won a game there since 1945. I have to hate the fire out of the defense that forced the field goal in 1990 down on the goal line, a couple of times I think.
NC State – Terrance Holt. I can go with Terrence too, but there have been several NCSU teams that have rained on our parade in the last 25 years…and we have rained on their’s as well…
Virginia – Charlottesville…just like Chapel Hill, except we did take the 1990 game! The Word kid that run all over us in 1985 is second.
Virginia Tech – The DC. He’s good and he kills us and he jumps around too much when he wins.
Wake Forest – The woman who used to call Larry Munson’s show back in the 80’s and 90’s after Tech would beat UGA, just to diss our program. She always claimed she was a Wake grad.

hate the hokies, do not live in Georgia so rather see GT beat VT than anyone else…some class when the VT QB kept the GT jersey and continued to wear it in the 2nd half of the 2007 game even when a VT alumni showed up with extra jerseys for the qb to wear. Then the GT jersey was taken back to Blacksburg and placed in the trophycase instead of returned. The whole incident of missing jerseys was a joke in the first place strummed up by the VT coaches to fire up their team on our turf on national tv. Some class they showed by allowing the QB to keep the GT jersey. Right on Doug

I’ll never ever,ever,ever,…………..forget Ray Goof and the mutts putting it up from our 5 yd line(+-) in the last minute(+-)in the 4th qtr. in a game they were leading by 25 pts(+-)with Zeier still at QB. That bass-turd knew that we knew what he was doing and did it anyway to rub it in even harder. I confronted him with it(via AM radio) and he denied it while laughing. That’s what makes him a mutt!

you are a fool. there is nothing wrong with virginia tech. they don’t play dirty at all they just play tough. they play emotional football. something the jackets could learn something about. frank beamer is one of the best coaches in history.

Can the AJC please get a writer who can update this blog more than one time a WEEK? Two times in TWO MONTHS? The UGA blog is diligently updated FOUR TIMES A DAY! Obviously no one at the AJC has any interest in resolving this problem. Maybe some of the Tech fans on here should start sending some hateful emails to the management.

Hey Pollack…your taint here…listen up. I’m tired of having the balls VT slapping me during the butt poundings they’ve been handing out. That comeback a few years back in the 4th left me sore for days….anyway, the truth of the matter is VT’s gotten a few sportsmanship awards. Also, they had the fewest penalties last year in the ACC. So next time you stick that big ding dong up your butt, you need to remember who owned your behind first. That would be the good ole, class act, Virginia Tech Hokies.

Oh, and you’re going to burn in hell.
