Just before Braves spring training began, Braves pitcher Tom Glavine and wife Chris hosted friends at the Georgia Aquarium for a fun night benefiting charity.
The 17th annual “Tom Glavine’s Spring Training” event benefited the Georgia Transplant Foundation. Since 1992 Glavine’s event has raised more than $4.3 million for GTF, which provides emergency financial assistance, mentoring, scholarships, and other services to more than 6,500 Georgians affected by organ transplantation.
