Georgia State picks up two more football recruits

New Georgia State football coach Trent Miles picked up two more commitments over the weekend.

Newton High School outside linebacker Kingsley Ejike and East Paulding RB-LB Kyler Neal pledged to Georgia State.

Ejike is a 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker who also claimed offers from Furman and Appalachian State.

“Georgia State is close to home, they’re moving up to the Sun Belt conference, and they have a new coaching staff,” Ejike said. “I feel like there’s the opportunity to play early.”

Neal could play several different positions in college.

GaState is rolling.
Now it will be interesting to see what the coaches can do.
Stepping up to FBS is going to be difficult no matter who the coach is.

You PRAY for that don’t you Rick James?
I bet they will take some of the Brilliant Urban Youth that are Special Admits at UGa soon too. Why play at the Drunk Fake Blonde White Girls College & Plantation in Athens when they can go to GaState and see Students like themselves.
GaState gets an A in Diversity UGa gets a C+

I realize that you get a little tired of the ’shot’s at Tech from UGA fans. And while I find the Prism that you laughable, I get the frustration though.

Personally, I hope Georgia State does well in football. Just like I hope KSU, Georgia Southern, Valdosta State, West Georgia and even Georgia Tech perform well. Why? They are Georgia schools, who’s rosters are filled with a large majority of Georgia kids.

Regarding your ‘diversity’ thoery. While Georgia Tech gets a B+ in diversity, it comes from a high percentage of asian kids. If you add AA and HIspanics together, the two Universities have the exact same percentage enrolled.

Every student body and fan base has it share of jerks, including Tech.

Good luck aginst USC….

Dwag1….Tech doesn’t have the Total # of students UGa or GaState have. TECH looks more diverse because the whole population doesn’t look all white. At UGa there are so many white people and white women in particular the diversity is hard to see. GaState is so very even and a very large population too.

Georgia State clearly is not on my list of schools I pull for,
but they got an excellent young man in Kingsley Ejke. His
brother starts for GA Southern and I do pull for the Eagles. Fine
family in Covington and he should be an asset to the program.
Congratulations KIngsley.

A person SMART enough would know that your numbers do not add up to 100%. Where did you learn your math?

By your logic, these guys should go to South Carolina State. That way they can “see Students like themselves” and maybe actually WIN!

DZ did you follow the link? Well obviously not or you would know WHY the numbers don’t =100%
GaStates Diversity(more like the real working world) should be a huge recruiting point along with the fact they Graduate more African Americans than the other colleges in the state outside of HBCUs. South Carolina St is an HBCU and not IN STATE close to family and friends to come see the games with ease.

Hey, “A Person Smart Enough To Know”! OK, you’re a racist and yes, Ga St can get players in that Tech cannot (Or UGA) fo rthat matter because the requirements are much lower. I think if you look at the make up of the students, you will see why their accademics are lower than the rest. It sure is obvious to me!!!

Oh no I dont pray for that.I’m a Georgia fan and my team is better than Tech. There’s no need for me to hide behind State like Tech fans do with other SEC schools.Tech is in the toilet and State is moving up.That’s what I said it..

Tech stinks so he wont talk football..He just spews non sports related garbage. When Georgia State’s program is winning more than Tech he’ll start attacking the kids.He can show you charts, graphs and link that make excuses for Tech football. But nothing changes the last Saturday of November.

Hey Smart..Joe Hamilton was probably the best quarterback in Tech history but he’s been coaching at Georgia St. for the past few seasons. Why? Because he got drunk was involved in hit and run and Tech fired him.Yeah! They really treated that ex-player well huh? Love the way they stood behind him.I wonder why you never post the link to that story..

Rick James HOW did Joe get the job at GaState? Tech couldn’t keep him after the Hit-n-Run DUI but Tech did talk with the TECH man at GaState to see if he would like to hire Joe to be on his coaching staff. So TECH helped him get a job. When a Public Figure makes a Public Mistake they get fired and you know that. Tech had no choice but JOE was helped by the TECH FAMILY and Hire by another TECH man so HOW didn’t TECH stand behind JOE?
Rick I know you are smarter than that. What did UGa do for the brother Damon after his lil issue? Nothing.

What an idioitic question..There was nothing to do but fire him. What did Tech do for Connor Pollack after he was charged with rape? Did they rehire him after the charges were dropped? No! So Tech fires Joe Hamilton calls Bill Curry and says we dont want him here but he would be a nice addition to your staff..Yeah right..Give me a prediction for the Tech/’Georgia game in Atlanta next season.Tell me why Georgia wont be up 35 points at halftime.Georgia State’s program will be ahead of Georgia Tech’s in 3 years..

Rick…..He was not Charged with RAPE but he was charged with drug possession. Connor is a TEXAS A&M grad not a TECH MAN or TECH Family member. Connor’s job had been filled by the time the charge of Rape was dropped. Do you know Bill or Joe? I can tell you there were conversations between TECH people to get Joe coaching at GaState. Nobody EVER said Tech didn’t want JOE. When charges like that happen the person has to be fired. DAMON was allowed to keep his job even though it was know he was messing around until it came out in the PUBLIC. UGa had no choice and same for TECH.

You’re not stupid but sometimes you pretend to be..Ahead meaning the way Georgia is ahead of Tech right now.Better record, better players, better coaches.Just better. My car gets 10 miles to the gallon and a brake job cost $7,500.Trust me when I say you dont want it.

The Rolls isn’t the ONLY car you have is it?
Better RECORD is debatable. As you love to say you have to compare Apples to Apples.
When CPJ and CMR were BOTH 34-14 you told me that those record didn’t compare cause of WHO UGa played.
I told you SEC talent at UGa against SEC talent on other teams was the Apples to Apples. The ACC talent at Tech against ACC talent on teams was Apples to Apples you said that wasn’t FAIR.
NOW you tell me HOW you can go Apples to Apples with record and talent of TECH against GaState record and talent.
You just got painted into a corner to either say you were FOS before or the really EXPLAIN how you can judge on all your criteria evenly over the extreme difference all 3 school face playing football in the FBS.

———————————————————————————————————————————-
I never said any such thing. The only CPJ team that compared to Georgia was 2010 when Georgia went 6-7 and lost the Liberty Bowl. That season Tech won the ACC championship but still lost to Georgia. There was nothing great about the Tech team it was just a down year for Georgia..Let me put it this way.You will still see CPJ’s players get shut out in NFL drafts while Georgia and now Georgia St will have kids drafted. I’m saying that State will recruit better players than Tech who will be better prepared to play at the next level.Had Roddy Jones Jones played at State or Georgia there is no way he would not have gotten a well deserved shot at the NFL.You never want head to head comparisons because you want to hide behind other SEC teams or academics. If Stanford and Vandy can win so can Tech stop making excuses.Georgia St. with the way they going is going to embarass Tech without ever playing them.Thats what I mean when I say State will be ahead of Tech within three years. If Tech makes a coaching change all bets are off..It’s a Bentley and not the only car I have but you can have your choice.

Rick just admit you love dumb jocks and could care less that they get a Diploma with a university name on it even if it Devalues the UNIVERSITY but makes the Mascot name more marketable. You don’t care about the VALUE of the education a kid gets as long as that Boy can tote The Rock. I fear you care more about what somebody can do for you than what you can do for them.

My priorities: (1) Georgia Tech, (2) Georgia State, (3) Georgia Southern, (4) Valdosta State, and (5) UGA. Georgia Tech and Georgia State are Atlanta teams and get my first priority. Georgia Southern is my third choice and has had both ex UGA and Tech coaches at that school. My grandson went to Valdosta State and they have had several outstanding coaches. I want UGA to win when they are not playing any of these other Georgia teams.
