5-star safety Vonn Bell put his recruiting on hold until after his senior season at Ridgeland High School.
Ridgeland’s season ended with a loss to Sandy Creek in Saturday’s Class AAAA state championship, and Bell has set up his official visits to his three finalists.
Bell will go to Ohio State on Jan. 11, Alabama on Jan. 18 and Tennessee on Jan. 25, his coach told the AJC.
The AJC Super 11 selection grew up a fan of Tennessee.
Ohio State coach Urban Meyer attended Bell’s game last Saturday at the Georgia Dome.

Vonn loves the Vols – he has been Orange Blooded since a little kid.
In the end…. THIS and Coach Jones make Vonn All Vol.

Vonn, do you want to win National Titles for stay home for bowl season? Easy choice, it’s Bama over the Vols. Butch Jones will be gone in 3 years after Saban puts him out of business just like Dooley.
UT trying to buy out Oregon game for next season. What does that tell you? They are scared of the competition! Dave Hart has officially petititioned Mike Slive in SEC office to change Vols official colors from ORANGE to YELLOW! The Tennessee Chickens!

Not overly impressed with Bell. Great athlete but hesitates too much for big time safety. May be better offensive player.

Ohio State is the best bet for this kid.
Tennessee needs D players but who know what it will be like if Brey doesn’t return.
Bama is too loaded.

Good luck in whatever he decides, but young Mr. bell may suffer from decision phobia. Appeared ready to punch the crimson ticket but now has set up OVs. Not sure he’ll have a spot when he’s forced to choose.

Bell got “schooled by Demarre Kitt in the playoff game. UGA needs to go hard after the junior WR.

Bell should go to UT! He could help his beloved team get back on track. Plus his family could come see play by driving only a few hours up the road. I’m sure Satan or Urban Myth will get him though
