Reuben Foster de-commits from Auburn … UGA?

Rueben Foster, who got a gigantic Auburn tattoo on his forearm after committing to the Tigers, de-committed from Auburn on Friday, according to multiple reports.

Foster’s departure from Auburn likely has to do with news that his mentor, Tigers assistant Trooper Taylor, will not be retained on Gus Malzahn’s new staff, according to a report by AuburnSports.com.

Reuben prediction?

Foster is now looking at UGA, LSU, Miami and Washington.

What about UGA? Foster skipped the Iron Bowl between Auburn and Alabama last month to make an unofficial visit to watch the Bulldogs play Georgia Tech. He attended the game with one of his best friends, Newnan High School safety Tray Matthews, who is committed to UGA.

There were rumors on Twitter that Foster planned to commit to UGA that weekend, but he later said he was waiting to see how Auburn’s coaching situation would be resolved. Trooper Taylor is like a father figure to Foster and has unlimited access to the 5-star linebacker since his son plays on the same high school football team with him in Auburn, Ala.

What about that gigantic Auburn tattoo? UGA’s coaches told him not to worry about it, to cover it up with long sleeves if he played for the Bulldogs, according to DawgNation. Reuben also had this to say about the tattoo on Twitter:

The 6-foot-1, 240-pound Foster has had a lot of turns and twists in his recruiting: He committed to Alabama two summers ago, and then flipped to Auburn this past summer, seemingly sealing the deal with the tattoo one day after the switch.

Foster played at Troup High School but transferred after his junior season because his coach was fired.

This sentence is hilarious. Recruiting is a joke these days. Even body art isn’t a real commitment.

Well, if UGA can afford removing that giant Auburn tattoo he’s got, I am sure he will commit.

If that giant tattoo becomes a giant financial burden, I advise UGA to run and run as fast you can.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he went with LSU but the Dawgs do have an inside with Tray Matthews. I feel sorry for him being so tied to Trooper Taylor… that dud is trouble walking. The coming NCAA investigation will have his name show up a number of times. Malzahn wisely did not retain him. The NCAA will look favorably upon him for that.

No room for Reuben… UGA needs Tunsil, Adams, Kamara, Crowder and Johnson with only 3 or 4 spots available for the 2013 class left.

R Nkemdiche is on the waiting list also… get in line Reuben… take a #…. or does UGA reevaluate the recruits that are presently committed?

Good riddance to he and Trooper. This kid has been nothing but a diva and has Mama Drama. Trooper brings in big names that don’t pan out and probably has brought the NCAA as well.

Time for a fresh start at AU!

This kid will be in jail by this time next year

this guy is a total punk. uga doesn’t need him and surely doesn’t need tt. he’s an awful coach and really attracts a ton of attention from the ncaa. not sure if he ever broke any rules with us although he would push the rules to the very end. uga doesn’t need a problem child and parent like these 2 morons.

Matthew 24:12 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,

2 Timothy 3:1-5 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. {2} People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, {3} without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, {4} treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God– {5} having a form of godliness but denying its power. Situation: UGA has FOUR ILB’s (all highly rated) already committed. Yet they still pursue Foster. Richt is just what Foster needs – honesty and guidance. If Foster committs expect one or more of these committed ILbs to decommitt – can only play two at a time and 5 ILBs in one class is way to many even though UGA is losing three to graduation or early to the NFL. The number of coaches a team can have is limited by the NCAA and Richt has no current openings even if he would consider Trooper Taylor and I doubt he would since Rodney Garner is his long time recruiting coordinator.

Yes Reuben committed but the coaches he committed to are no longer there. Coaches violate their written contracts all the time and switch teams for money, etc. – Saban & Meyer & Ptrino for example. Signing the dotted line is final for the players bout not the head coaches. Millions go to schools and coaches but the players don’t even get a stipend. I don’t blame Reuben for decommitting – the school he committed to made a change first and then he made a change.

As far as the tattoo goes all he has to do is go to Walmart and get a removal product called Wrecking Balm..Or go back the person who gave him the money for the AU tattoo(probably Trooper)get more money and have it redone into something else.

Saban will likely be in hot pursuit of Foster now – but h doesn’t like being rejected and Foster flipped from him to his arch enemy – Aubarn. Saban may find a job for Trooper Taylor in his office next to Reuben’s “girlfriend”.

So if Reuben goes back to Saban will Saban flip to Texas in 2014? Reuben Foster needs a coach that won’t desert him for more money – that would be Mark Richt.

I really love all of the NCAA “experts” here that pretend to know all about looming sanctions. Fantasy life can be fun I guess.

If Trooper is any kind of man he’ll tell Foster to shut his mouth and take care of his own business.
Foster is starting to sound like he might not be all that grown up.

Of course the AJC is known to just make up stuff about recruiting so who really kows.
