Montravius Adams is the state of Georgia’s top uncommitted football recruit.
The 6-foot-4, 310-pound defensive tackle from Dooly County High School is ranked as the nation’s No. 2 overall prospect – regardless of position – by 247sports.com.
Clemson and Auburn are rumored to be the co-leaders for Adams, who has not officially listed any favorites. Adams is clearly one of UGA’s top remaining targets for its 2013 class. Adams recently made an unofficial visit to UGA; however, his mother could not make the trip.
The 5-star recruit is scheduled to return to UGA next month for the Ole Miss game. He said he will bring his mother along, too.

Good luck Montravius and I hope you will play for your STATE team and not one in SC or AL. You are a South Georgia stud and your state needs you.

If Tuberville was fired at Auburn for several very good, but not great seasons……what is going to happen at Auburn after mediocre and horrible seasons? I don’t buy into that “rebuilding” story because Auburn has had 3 consecutive top 5 recruiting classes and they are 1-5 with the tough games still in front of them. There is no chance the coaching staff will make it through another season with fan expectations on the Plains. That is one program I would steer away from big time!!!!

Montravious we would love to have you leading our defenceive charge and I appreciate your decision to make this very important decision carefully. I am from S Georgia (Albany) but now live in Cullowhee, NC because my wife never adjusted to gnats. I guess that might be part of what makes us S Georgia men tough. Best wishes on your decision. I will enjoy watching your progress and career no matter where you go but I do hope to see you regularly between the Hedges. Cullowheedawg

Yes it’s a big game we loss plain and simple! I’m not making excuses. I’m not blasting our head coach or oc! We didn’t perform to our ability. It wasn’t a blowout. Do Uga play lsu? Nope. What about Bama? Nope. If you not careful ole miss going to beat Uga.

If SC could have beaten that Auburn team last year they would have been in Atlanta. Its time for the Gamecocks and their fans to man up and quit making excuses. SEC schedules rotate and sometimes you benefit, sometimes you don’t. No more coulda, woulda, shoulda from the Old Ball Coach.

Blah blah blah!! You lost to LSU! Like the guy stated earlier, if you could have beaten an awful Auburn team last year you could have suited up in the Dome. That did not happen….you lost to a weak team with your season on the line. That’s not really called winning big games lol

This is like USC and SC…….there is only one USC and that college is 2000 miles west. There is only one stadium referred to as “the hedges” and everyone in the nation (except you) knows that is 60 miles east of Atlanta.

For all you people that live north of the “fall line” that is not a nervous tick that Montravius has. He is swatting gnats. Sorta like how UGA swats the GnaTs on a yearly basis.
