UGA you need to look at Maurice Swain, I seen this kid, I mean this man in action. I know he is a three star, but he came to Troup High when he was a Sophmore. The school he was st did not get much exposure. Could be our next Marcus Sroud. 6′6 290 lbs. Think about it.

“I sure hope auburn can do what bama couldn’t do.” You mean follow up a national championship with five losses in one season by an average of 30 points per game. You’re right; Bama couldn’t do that.

====================================================

The Tide also has a genuine need for Adams . Graduations alone make him or someone like him a priority . Ditto for Tunsil .

Alvin Kamara , Laremy Tunsil , Derrick Henry , Montravius Adams and Vonn Bell . Targets the Tide staff is serious about . With several of those young men still seriously considering UGA there should be plenty of recruiting friction to generate articles for MC ( or is that vice versa ? )

Kamara & Tunsil to UGA. Derrick Henry between UTK or Bama, if Bama takes Henry then Tryen Jones flips to UGA… two UGA coaches at Tryen’s HS game tonight! Montravius Adams is leaning Auburn or Clemson with UGA third… Two UGA coaches at Adams game tonight against Wilcox Co.

Last I heard Vonn Bell was looking UTK with Ohio State a possibilty… first I heard of Bama… you sure CC?

Adams is saying Reuben Foster and Carl Lawson are seriously in his ear about committing to Auburn… You are right Kingdaddy, loses or a staff change could happen at Auburn. Although Chizik has quite a nice recruiting class committed already… doubt they fire him this year.

UGA has several coaches at DT Kelsey Griffin’s game tonight also and they are hoping Kelsey will attend the game this Saturday against FAU.

UGA has coaches at Alvin Kamara’s game against North Gwinnett tonight too!

Chizk is VERY safe for this year AND 2013

September 14th, 2012
9:50 pm

Van Gorder was sold on Auburn by Chizk because they let him know that Coach Chizk is 150% SAFE in this job in 2012 and 2013.

Secondly, Van Gorder desperately wants to be a head coach IN the SEC. He knows that he had better show vast improvement this year and then in 2013, Auburn on D, NEEDS to really be a top flight team.

If they go 6-6 this year and make a bowl for a chance at 7 wins, that will be a decent year for this AU squad. 2013 is where the rubber meets the road. If AU has a great D, then Van Gorder just might become a head coach here in the SEC, maybe at UT.

Go Dogs.

Not a lot public love for the Tide in a while from Montravius Adams but the desire (and need ) is still there on the Tide staff’s part . Vonn Bell publicly stated last week it was UTK , the Buckeyes and Bama as his final three .

On Kamara and Jones … the Tide wants and can utilize BOTH going forward . Rival fans and recruiters (and even ill informed Tide fans ) might be successful in creating fear and doubt in one of their minds . They might … but it is not a given that which ever school one goes the other just HAS to flee somewhere else to ever see the field .

Bama should be a no-brainier for Bell… that’s Saban’s specialty, but I guess sooner playing time sways some recruits.

Derrick Henry is set to announce on Sept 27th that should start the domino’s falling, maybe shed some light as what might happen.

I heard Bama is recruiting RB Greg Bryant as a CB and he is listening… thats Kirby talk! (make it sooner to the next level at CB) Bama must need CB’s?

Even better kickoff at the Barn is 11:21 a.m CST for Louisiana Monroe . If the Cow College ends up being even more odiferous than their historical norm it might finally sink in to some of these young men that it is a more or less permanent condition … (and turn them from AU back towards looking more seriously at UGA )

UGA, don’t waste a scholy on Kamara. Very overated back as seen against Parkview and North Gwinnett. Good defenses with speed out manuever this kid. Too small and not a lot of size when it comes to hitting the holes and having defenders bounce off of him. I am not impressed at all!

It certainly looks that way. When this all blows wide open, Richt will find himself without a job, and UGA will get the death sentence from the NCAA.

But it never was a secret about players being paid at Georgia. It’s been going on for years.

HO HUM, All ANTHONY JENNINGS did last night was throw 4 touchdown passes vs. Hillgrove to, once again, lead Marietta to a win. Ho Hum, all Anthony Jennings did last week was, after missing on his 1st pass, complete his NEXT 18 straight! His next incompletion came with 2:00 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. And against Newnan and Tray Matthews, he had over 350 total yards, threw for 2 TD(s), ran for 2, including a 26 yard burst in which he froze Matthews, and for good measure, caught a 26 yard TD pass. Newnan’s Head Coach was quoted as saying, “IF THERE’S A BETTER QUARTERBACK THAN THIS KID IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA, THEN WE DON”T WANT TO FACE HIM.” A UGA legacy who grew up a DAWG FAN, Anthony, 6′2″ 215 lbs. with room to grow, won the Elite 11 regional (your guy Ramsey didn’t place in the finals) and has, of course, committed to…..LSU! Do it Richt, do it Booboo. You see dawg fans, this is the very reason y’all haven’t won a National Title since Moby Dick was a Minnow. It’s guy’s like Bobo, who shouldn’t be in the position he’s in anyway, making decisions based on his personal preference rather than what’s best for UGA. And Richt, being the wimp that he is, of course goes along with it. At least when Ramsey arrives on campus, you’ll finally have someone Theus can beat in the 40. 32 years, 32 friggin years, and the kid that can lead you to the Promised Land isn’t even offered. What a joke of a program.

RedandBlackDawg…. That article was at least 7 or 8 paragraphs long. My appologies, as that was probably a little too much for most jawja fans to handle. Tucked away near the bottom was this little nugget.

“Later Wednesday, De’Vinner told the Nashville radio show that, in addition to those alleged NCAA violations, a BCS school he wouldn’t name offered $6,000 to Redmond to sign with that school. Show co-host Clay Travis, overlooking information from Rivals. com that Redmond’s official visits were to State, GEORGIA and Vanderbilt

I think we can rule out Vandy in that transaction. So that leaves MSU and Jawja. I would think he would say a school paid $6,000 for Redmond if he was refering to MSU. Sounds to me as if Jawja got outbid. But that’s just me… fear not the NCAA is investigating and I’m sure they’ll get to the bottom of it.

Obviously, you don’t get what the word assume means ins some cases. If you honestly buy the writers implied or not statement and you honestly think that UGA would pay a kid 6 grand to verbal to them, you really have been blinded by your hate for UGA.
Maybe he meant to say, UGA offered to get him 6 grand worth of free textbooks. That is something an Alabama fan would understand more.

Sounds like Bama missed out on a good one in Jennings. If you are going to play the role of a Bama fan, you at least need to act upset over Saban missing out here. That’s just logic, Tide Roll. (Sometimes I get tired of having to make simple points like that, but then there is always a glimmer of hope that I can break through with TR).

Of course, UGA already had their one QB for the class in the state’s top QB prospect in 2013, Brice Ramsey. Willie and Anthony were gracious about the way UGA handled things, unlike Tide Roll.
Another lesson in there for Tide Roll. Don’t get carried away with your UGA obsession. There is no need to always be angry and jealous of the Dogs.

Finally, Jennings is committed to LSU, why would he want to go to Auburn?

@Blackoutanyone, I could take the same assumption you made and say that the SEC school he referred to was not an official visit, thereby eliminating UGA and Vandy. So it could be any of the others beyond Auburn and Bama which the guy states. Just cause it listed the official visits doesn’t mean it is that school. Give it a break.

Two questions Tide Roll dares not to answer

1. Do you think Jennings is a better prospect than the two Bama commits at QB for 2013?

2. If your answer is yes, who do you blame for Bama not reeling in Jennings? (and Mark Richt and Mike Bobo are not the answer).
